Avatar f tn I live in springhill and go to Lifelink in Tampa right next to Tampa general they have a great program and they are up on everything new. I don't know if they have any assistance programs but Merck has some type of help programs. Please give Lifelink a call there number is 800-844-9302. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Can some one explain to me why? It is my understanding that insurance with cover cataract surgery and placement of a monofocal lens. However, cataract surgery with placement of a multifocal lens (instead of the monofocal) is considered 'elective' and not covered. Why can't I pay for the difference between the monofocal lens and the multifocal lens? Is the cost to the surgeon for the ReZoom lens really $3,000 more than the cost of the monofocal lens?
Avatar f tn dose anyone or has any know anyone who has been to floida detox in tampa. whta do you think about it?
Avatar n tn I leave in Tampa Florida and I urgently need some samples of PLAVIX please I have no health insurance how can i get some free samples.
Avatar m tn FYI: I live approx. 1 hour north of Tampa. Locally, around Crystal River, FL, the charge for a multi focal lens like Tecnis or Restor is between 2000 and 2300 per eye over and beyond what Medicare will pay. Two hours south of me a friend had his cataract surgery and the Tecnis multi-focal lens implanted and was charged only 1550 for BOTH eyes. I called that doctor a few minutes ago, his nurse told me he does NOT tacks on only the difference between the lens.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know of a good (effective) detox/rehab facility in Tampa Bay/St. Pete area? Son prefers non-residential but has rather large addiction to roxicodone /oxycontin. This is all so confusing and depressing. . seems so many people are trying to make big bucks at desperate people's expense (and I don't mean just dealers!) No one is really giving me much hope of permanent freedom from this drug for him, either.

143746 tn?1301274822 After multiple tests to find out what caused it I found out I had hyperparathyroidism and they believe I had had it for over 20 years. I went to Norman Parathyroid Clinic in Tampa and had it removed. I improved considerably. No more lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting, temperature intolerance and I even started sweating again. I can eat normal meals and no longer have periods of dementia like episodes. I no longer have to use a wheelchair and can now even clean my own house.
5555127 tn?1373562243 I just moved to another state (fl) and I do not have a doctor because no one will seem to take me because I do not have insurance yet... my question is I have felt braxton hicks before but now rhere starting to hurt. I feel tightening pain in my belly all the way to my back... is this normal?
Avatar f tn I recall you mentioning earlier that you were very pleased with your Tampa Dr., If your insurance covers the cost of appointments and trt, with little out of pocket, I'd be inclined to stay with him. If no insurance and still no out of pocket, this decision is even easier. The 2 hr drive to Orlando in sometimes awful traffic could get very old if you're required frequent visits.
Avatar f tn I am moving to Tampa soon, I am 28 weeks pregnant ftm. - was wondering if there were any Tampa moms. I need to find a good doctor, one that accepts Medicaid.
Avatar m tn Like your taste in art :) ... Dali's work always struck me as more "vision" than 'picture' or 'painting' -- a brief glimpse into his mind's eye. (Ever seen 'Un Chien Andelous"... :) ?
Avatar f tn I know there are some world-class hepatologists in Miami, however I’m pretty sure you’ll find someone in Tampa that you can work with.
Avatar f tn I have been diagnosed with myopic degeneration and receive the intraocular injection which is very effective. My insurance carrier will not cover the cost of the injection (medicine and surgery). If I had a diagnosis of macular degeneration it would be fully covered. I am looking for suggestions as to how to make my case with the insurance carrier that this is not a one time event but a chronic condition that if not treated would result in a loss of vision.
