She fully recovered from it, but about a month after she was released from the hospital, she has noticed that a vision in her left eye seemed blurry. She was hoping that it will go away and didn't go to the doctor right away. About 2 month after that, she fell and injured her shoulder which later required a surgery as well. After her shoulder surgery, as soon as she got home, she noticed blurred vision in her right eye also.
About 8 months ago, I picked up an additional job, making my total working hours about 100/week. I had a lack of sleep to say the least, so when I started getting headaches, my vision started getting a little blurry, and for the first time ever (at 20yrs) I suddenly had excessive acne, and was constantly tired, I assumed it was my work load. 5 months ago I cut myself down to 35 hours, and have thought my body was just making up for the lost sleep by ALWAYS being tired now.
I live in Reno. But lived in tahoe half my life. It does get chilly down there but id rather be cold than hot. And you wont start to feel hot hot untill later on in your pregnancy. And atleast its not Reno right. Lol I dont even go outside. Kind of wished I could move up there for my pregnancy.
I have been diagnosed with myopic degeneration and receive the intraocular injection which is very effective. My insurance carrier will not cover the cost of the injection (medicine and surgery). If I had a diagnosis of macular degeneration it would be fully covered. I am looking for suggestions as to how to make my case with the insurance carrier that this is not a one time event but a chronic condition that if not treated would result in a loss of vision.
(In July I had moved to Reno,NV from Los Angeles,CA) I went to emergency and they told me I was fine. I spotted in December and then when January came I bled for 3 weeks. I went to the doctor and she put me on birth control taking 2 pills a day. It stopped the bleeding and I was regular for Feburary March April and May. I didn't have one in June July August and it came again in the middle of September and ended the middle of October.
My husband (40 y/o,healthy)and I (40 y/o, healthy) are looking to get our health insurance coverage from next present. Right now we are on cobra GHI( extension from my previous work place) but they are asking me to change to EMPIRE PPO or EPO since they will not have GHI. I did not have dental and vision coverage previously but even if I want it they are saying they cannot add it. They are also asking for a one year committment.
The doc there pegged it as a full blown stroke and flew me to Reno (same symptoms as before). The original Neuro I saw in Oct was not in Reno in Feb so I just saw the ER doc. After the third day, I asked why they hadn't run any tests on me and why hadn't I seen a neurologist yet. The ER doc told me that they thought it was just a migraine. Huh?
Worried I have contacted hiv. Went to reno on a business trip and happened to make it to strip club with work buddies. As it was a week night, it was dead in there. My fear is that the girls were kissing all over us. Even kissing on the lips and biting. I never took my cloths off. However, one of the girls was grinding on my face and sort of hurt me physically during the process. They were really rough. My fear is that a lot of the girls out at the reno clubs look like a. They are on drugs. b.

Also, see if there is a birth center near you. I know our local BC has options for families with no insurance. The total out of pocket to deliver there and be seen throughout the pregnancy is about $4500 compared to 3x that amount about the hospital.

So I got a new job and didn't sign up for the vision plan because I have plenty of contacts, so decided to sign up during enrollment in January, but I did sign up for Medica health insurance. Now I have a growth in the corner of my eye. Not on the eyeball but in the way corner next to the nose. It is red, doesn't hurt or itch, is just super annoying because it touches by eye sometimes and feels like some eye boogers and I constantly want to rub it away.
Karla, we adopted him from a local rescue group. Reno was one of 6 in a litter being adopted out. I haven't heard if there are any other problems. We're not exactly sure what kind he is. They think an Aussie Sheppard/Rotti mix. As far as the vet goes, they're pretty much just trying to rule out what they can. They did blood work to test and see if all of his levels were normal. We've ruled out that he's getting into something in the yard that could be poisoning him.
