I have Kaiser insurance and was wondering howmuch the copay was for labor for those who have kaiser as well.

I have kaiser insurance I have the insurance by my mom I plan on getting married next month in August will me getting married cause me to lose my insurance?

Right now I have Kaiser Insurance, which means I can only go to Kaiser Hospitals. Generally I am very dissatisfied with them. The only concern I have is that I love my Neurosurgeon who performed my decompression surgery. I have other concerns which may or may not be related to Chiari and have a hard time getting help. Even when I meet with a doctor they lack concern and knowledge to treat my chronic issues.

I was 34 weeks when my job had insurance policy changes. I also had Kaiser. The first thing you do is start looking for a dr with the new insurance. Once you have your dr picked out ask for your medical records that way on your first visit new dr is on the same page and has a plan for you and baby boy. When I went to UCLA last year I had insurance that covered the visit. Now I am on Kaiser, so any visit to UCLA is off insurance. My Kaiser docs have lost interest and have no further plans to assist me. ve only been seeing him for yearly eye exams (he is an ophthalmologist) .. but he is not part of my insurance, which is Kaiser Permanente. I decided to have this further checked at Kaiser because if I need surgery..I want all the records there in one place and because I expect the price would be less. In any case...was this doctor right with what he told me?..that is.. that you can only wear eyeglasses if the difference between the eyes is within a certain range?...

Last week my medi-cal got cancel idk why they wouldnt tell me. Kaiser told me they wont accept me there anymore so ive been stressing a lot!!! I'm currently 20 weeks and not working at the moment but I do have money save up. Does anybody know any health insurance that will help??

I am so sorry that u have been to Drs that feel Chiari is not an issue, I think we all have and it is not Kaiser as a whole as I know we have had members with Kaiser get Drs that did surgery...so it is possible...take a look at our list of Drs and use it to research....I do not know Northern CA from Southern as far as where these Drs are, but u may have to travel.....many of us do...take a look, research the Drs as this list is NOT a referral...

I'd like to visit one particular doctor and he doesn't take Kaiser. I've applyed to BCBS and just got letter from them - i'm not eligible for the coverage because of hep C. Should I try to apply to other providers (like Aetna..., ) or I'll have the same result?

I need to switch health insurance for 2015 and I'm looking at maybe switching to Kaiser. When I was being screened for a transplant at Univ of Colorado several years back, I remember one woman in the group was referred by Kaiser because they didn't have a transplant center of their own. My husband was diagnosed with Chirai Malformation recently with Kaiser. Let me take a step back and say in 2002 with another insurance company he had an MRI done with his nurologist where an enlarged tonsil was noted, but nothing was ever done. He was being treated for Epilapsy. Over the last 10 + years he has continued to have new symptoms appear & worsen as time goes on. His quality of life is not good. He went to his nurologist, but he was not interested in checking him for Chiari.

I now understand how many of you were questioning insurance copays. We have to pay $500.00 for inpatient care/ hospital stay. I envy you out of the US mom's that don't have to pay for anything. All I'm saying is I hope I also get my tubes tied at the same time then. I know now that there's a way they can do it thru my cervix after labor and delivery. Ugh..... I understand its something that has to be paid for and what not but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

If you have Kaiser, the insurance you have ONLY covers treatment and testing at Kaiser Hospitals. PP will NOT take Kaiser insurance. Meaning, you can still have access to their FREE services such as STD screening and testing.... but anything treatment wise, is out of pocket. I ended up going to Kaiser to me dermatologist. He was slightly more helpful about it, and when he looked at the bumps I have, he said they were most likely warts or skin tags.

t even worry about that. Kaiser insurance is the best insurance to have if your need a transplant. A friend of mine had a transplant with many complications and was hospitalized for 6 months. Her bill was $3 million. Kaiser paid it all. Good luck! Once you get him to UCSF I can help get him through the process. I have been going there since 2008 and plan on having a transplant there is 6-9 months.

Well after the 30 days are up how can I get my daughter insurance? Cant afford it threw husband and my mom works for Kaiser but her job feels if she is paying for my daughters insurance every year she should claim her on her taxes... well my husband wants to claim his own child considering he will provide for her.
