I am not working currently and I had never had health insurance. I am suspecting that I might have RA. I am seeing reumathologist this Friday. I wonder where I can find a good health insurance? I am going to make an appointment with an eye doctor 'cause I was diagnosed with a migraine that effected the vision in my right eye...the blurriness is going away, but not completely...I'm nervous 'cause I'm afraid the blurry vision in that eye will stay like this forever...the vision isn't as sharp in the right eye.... Is there some type of eye drops I can take that will get the eye back to normal?

It appears to me that I have run into a new practice similiar to the "pill" mills here in Florida. "Cataract" mills where the doctors recommend surgery & say it will correct all your vision problems. I went to 1 ophthamologist who recommended I get both eyes done, although I have only lost vision, which is uncorrectable in my left eye. This was after he had spent @ 5 minutes with me. He said after surgery, I would only need glasses to read.

His doctor told him that even with a new prescription his vision cannot be corrected (in the bad eye) to better than 20-50. He has trouble driving during the day (always thought the problem was night driving) because of glare, and cannot read signs.

well im about 9 weeks pregnant kinda in a mess with not having insurance and i probably wont get medicaid for a while so what do i do? i cant go months without being seen :/ I want to see if my little one is ok any ideas or help??

Thank you. I will look into it tomorrow. Since they wanted to charge me for my pregnancy test I figured they would charge me for any tests I need til my insurance came through. I recently moved to Florida so I'm not sure how they operate down here.

I'm 25 & live in Florida. I applied for pregnancy Medicaid last week. I just faxed in my pay stubs this morning to see if I am even eligible for them to open a file so I can be considered for assistance.. I do have insurance thru my job but I can't afford it now.. The total out-of-pocket wihout insurance would be $2400 a year. With insurance it would be $1900 a year. So now the total cost of medical care with United catastrophic insurance is $6300 and uninsured out-of-pocket cost is $3600. The costs of outpatient procedures and other things are generally comparable to that and I'm not going to bother doing the math on them as I'm not familiar with the costs there.

I have had double vision going on two years now and it seems to be getting worse. My last visit with my eye physician was last week. I have been seeing him since July. We have sent my glasses back five times. My double vision in one on top of the other as in road signs, etc. We tried different strengths of prisims to no avail. Can you help? org only lists 2 cataract/IOL surgeons in my area in Florida; I left voice mails with both, but no one bothered to return my calls, nor did a couple other eye MD offices that I called. I am not trying to get out of paying if this is a normal and accepted extra charge, but this fee seems to be unusual and contradictory. Can an MD please clarify this for me? Also, would you advise to set these Tecnis IOLs for 'modified' monovision for better intermediate vision? Thank you in advance.

I would look up Florida laws. But it also should be in your works handbooks. Cali has an additional law outside of FMLA which protects any parent for 12 wks. I would ask you HR or go to a government website for additional info.

Just took 2 hpt and they both were instant positives with dark lines, I would be 6 weeks tomorrow, but my family (my husband and our daughter that will be 2) just moved to florida 8 months ago and the whole pregnant thing is different than where im from and idk what to do or where to go to get an ultrasound and set up with a doctor.

After two days inpatient and numerous tests and scans, all were negative, I was released with my very own left sided hemiparesis,right diplopia and vertigo. My right eyelid droops and the vision plane is not equal with the left. Makes it hard to read unless I squint or shut one eye. I have no feeling on the left. There are lots of detox centers in florida...sometimes you have to go where your insurance directs you..if you have your choice I would google it...
