645800 tn?1466860955 What kind of games does your brain play on you? I've have been plagued with them for several years and have yet to figure out how it comes up with these games as they effect all five senses. The touch is the easiest games to figure out about my brain. It is simply bad or no signals to the brain. A real no brainer! LOL Taste and smell get a little trickier to figure out. I put them together because of the strong link between them.
Avatar f tn Well one of my friends told me about a virtual baby shower so I thought I would look into it and see what it was about. Well it is a very cool idea for those of us who can't do a traditional baby shower. I just made my baby shower event page today on Facebook and a lot of my friends are saying what an awesome idea this is and I'm already getting gifts sent to me. I can now say that I don't have to worry about a car seat because someone just bought it for us.

Avatar f tn Maybe get creative if you want to have one. Even if it's small that's okay- try a BBQ for example- with both men and women can go, like you would normally do with just a couple friends but this time it's for the baby! You could also try an "virtual" baby shower...there are lots of ideas if you just Google Virtual Baby Shower, and fun ideas on Pinterest too.
Avatar f tn I don't really have any friends where i live... Not any close ones I'd feel comfortable inviting to a baby shower. My family and close family friends who don't live near me have been asking what they can get me for my first baby that's due in May. My mom suggested having a "virtual" baby shower and just have everyone send me diapers and other small stuff... But i think this is tacky.

That the more you work out your brain the better it is. It is places like "brain games":http://www.fitbrains.com/games that can help or watching Jeopardy.
Avatar f tn Hi I was diagnosed with a brain cyst by my GP, she said that I probably had it since birth. She didn't really do much explaining except that it wasn't anything serious and wasn't the cause of my daily headaches. She had an MRI done on me which came out fine. I was just wondering, I have been getting my headaches back again quite often, and I was wondering if these cysts can grow?

5986700 tn?1380791380 especially during the down times when the false energy they gave me wore off and I needed more to go back up again. The drugs ran me into the ground and drove me to quit. My brain wanted to keep using, but my body said QUIT!! So, after 4 years of battles, here I am almost a year clean again. But the energy level is that of a 67 year old. I go to the gym, walk every day, try to eat well, but the energy is still that of a 67 year old. It isn't real bad.

620923 tn?1452915648 Our spines are direct extensions of our brain, which it uses to control the various functions and movements of our body. The brain sends electric impulses, much like a computer gives instructions to a printer or a screen, only billions of time more complex. Take a moment to explore this virtual and interactive spine by moving your mouse over the different vertebrae and receive an explanation of which part of the spine affects different parts of the body.

1156914 tn?1300571629 i've been a member here for a couple of months now and i'm really grateful for all the virtual friends that i've made, amazing how the internet can bring together people from all corners of the earth. it's great that we get to share our experiences with people who are kinda going through the same thing and plus since i'm considered a 'youngster' by some, it's great to hear about life experiences of the 'older generation' (no offence meant to anyone.

Avatar n tn They access your pineal region from beneath the brain, so they do not affect your brain at all. It sounds like a scary procedure but is actually straightforward for a good brain neurosurgeon. The surgeon essentially inserts a microscopic endoscope that magnifies the area by 50x and uses a navigation system to get him there. It is minimally invasive. The medical literature says that most patients whose pineal cysts are not too large (e.g., < 4.
281219 tn?1219114914 I had one friend back home suggest doing a virtual baby-shower whereby we register online, say, at Target and then she would send "invitations" to a virtual shower which would mean that our friends and family can shop during the virtual shower time. While selfishly this sounds great, it also feels odd. Part of having a shower is having your friends and family over to celebrate your pending delivery.
