Vigamox over the counter

Common Questions and Answers about Vigamox over the counter

Avatar n tn It is always wrong to assume a medication for a human can double for use on dogs and other animals. Some are toxic. This noted, there are in fact cases of over-the-counter and home-remedies that humans use that can be used on a dog, but not until one knows it is in general done with good success. Don't be the test case. I know the spirit of your post was to get information - mine is just general, but does apply.

Avatar f tn Anyone have experience with any over the counter depression medicine that works well?
Avatar m tn Suggest you add a antibiotic lid cleaner like Ocusoft Foam Eyelid cleaner or TheraTears SteriLid foam eyelid cleaner. Both available over the counter. Us one not need both; use at least 4 times/week when shower/bathe. You may need to get a new opinion about the cause from an Eye MD with a specialty in cornea and external disease.
Avatar f tn My optometrist wrote me a prescription for Vigamox. I actually have an Unopened bottle but realized the expiration date on the box is 12/2009. I was hoping to save the $100 and use the unopened bottle but do not know if that is such a wise idea. Are expired eye drops safe?
Avatar f tn I am in the middle of having cataract surgery (one eye is done and the other will be done tomorrow). The doctor gave me small samples of Nevanac & Vigamox to use before and after the surgeries. He also gave me a prescription for both. In checking with my health insurance plan, I see that each prescription will cost me $75 to fill. I saw in a previous question that Tobramycin might be substituted for Vigamox (which is MUCH cheaper). Can you suggest a cheaper substitute for Nevanac?
Avatar f tn I have a cold an taking no medicine is killing me. Is there Any over the counter meds I can take?
4371309 tn?1357956329 My Dr at Kaiser said that the OTC and the ones they prescribe are the same. I didn't argue with her since she has the degree and just bough some from the pharmacy. When ever your next visit is with your OB check with her/him.
5079728 tn?1365549989 So any medication that you can go in and buy without a prescription is considered an over the counter medication. This would include every single med lined up on the shelves ..... pain killers, cough meds, diarrhea meds, nausea meds, stomach meds, anti-itching meds, everything. If I recall correctly, you have cirrhosis, so you really do have to be careful not to take anything that the doctor does not approve first.
Avatar f tn An over the counter medication is any medication that can be purchased without a prescription "over the counter", but does not make the medication safer and needs to be taken according to the directions on the package and there is a need to be more vigilent and take into consideration individual health, the benefits versus the risks and potential interactions with any prescribed meidcations.
Avatar n tn But, I would like to know if there is an over the counter medicine. I only get the urgency after a little stress. It stops after 10 hours or so on it's own. But, a cheaper "as needed" OTC medicine would sure be something I am interested in.
765828 tn?1306263868 , there could be a serious reason why this is happening, i dont mean to scare you, it could be that you are constipated and pushing to much, but if the bowl is filled up, i would call your doctor right away, and this way, they can rule out different causes and hopefully get to the problem, i wouldnt take anything over the counter until i was seen by a doctor, good luck, let us know how you make out.
Avatar f tn yes yes, I am clean from Vicoden, Antidepresants but still am using a sleep aid, have been using over the counter meds for sleep since the 80's then went to prescription sleep aid and now I only sleep 3 or 4 hours using them. I am going to go off them soon. My Dr would like to see me wait until Jan just because I came off two meds this year and had surgery's but please don't go to prescription sleep aids I think it is harder to get off them than OCT.

Avatar f tn Regular artificial tears will not last 8 hours. These are all over the counter preparations. Do not sleep under a fan during sleep and don't run you automobile heater/air conditioner in your face. Avoid rubbing the eye especially in the morning.
Avatar m tn hy, 2 weeks ago i had cxl treatment for keratoconus. my doctor prescribed me to use vigamox and tobradax 4 times a day for 5 days and after flu she prescribed me to take these drops for 1 week.
Avatar f tn i spoke with my surgeon and there was no explanation an no relief from any over the counter pain medication. eventually i found this to be connected to my trigeminal nerve system which i compromised in an accident.a few year before. i went to a cranial-sacral therapist who manipulated my zygomatic bone which was compressed and created a block in the nerve flow.
Avatar f tn She told me to take Vigamox every 2h instead of 4. When I read the trial on Vigamox the patient took the drug 3x a day and see efficacy after 4-5days. For me it had been 5 now 6 days. I am kind of scare and I don't know if they know what I have exactly. Anyone on earth had a similar event or know what it could be please answer I will highly appreciate and have a better thanksgiving. Also is it dangerous to take Vigamox at each 2h?
Avatar m tn ve had a fair amount of C-MSRA infections here in my community over the last two years, and it makes me wonder. I really figured the Vigamox would do the trick. Thanks!
Avatar f tn Now I am scheduled for cataract surgery, and in the presurgical packet I received this weekend, there is an rx for Vigamox, even though I requested that a note about the Cipro/Vigamox problem be placed in my file. I know the fluoroquinolones are appealing to docs because they are so tremendously effective, but for people who cannot tolerate them, are there acceptable substitutes?
