Avatar f tn Thanks for the support. I guess I know what I'm in for with vicodin withdrawal but not with fentynal . Nor do I know how much the vics will help with fentynal withdrawal. Will they keep the stomich and sleep issues at bay when I take off the patch ?
Avatar n tn I'm not a medical doc, but numerous studies have traced certain seizure disorders with diabetes. This is at least something you might want to ask her doctor about? I experienced this a couple of years ago over the course of a month or two. After all of my tests came back normal, including an EEG, I am fully convinced that these effects were due to both the use and withdrawal of Aspartame (AKA-Diet Pepsi). And it doesn't look like I'm alone if you take a peak around the internet~.
5783082 tn?1374177161 s for around 6 months coming off of an addiction opiates (Vicodin). I was started on two 8mgs pill per day for a total of 16mgs per day. As I said I'm an addict so of course I was taking more than I needed to offset the WD's...I could have easily done only 8mgs or even 4mgs per day and been fine but Subs do get you high at higher doses. Sorry, I digress...My Dr.
Avatar f tn I started taking Vicodin a year ago. I am a pharmacy tech and used to make fun of people like me. I am on day 3 of the withdrawls. I stopped cold turkey and have no tablets left...Thank the Lord. I swear I had the flu. but after reading this I see this is all normal w/d. I feel like a horrible person. i have a 18month old and 3 year old daughter. i feel i have cheated my husband and kids of the real me for the last year. I need support. I am mad at myself and mad at the Dr.
Avatar f tn I have suffered from RLS before, I guess I would say intermittent and mild. I never had to take anything for it. I have been on Vicodin 10/325mg for about 16 mths. I only take them at night. The most I have ever taken at night was 5, but usually only 2-3. I have taken 1/2 of one for the last 2 days but it seems that everytime I try to get off of it I have no other withdrawls except for the horrible RLS. Is this part of a withdrawl.
Avatar f tn Ok, I've been taking hydrocodone for quite I few years now. It started out taking 5's as prescribed and went downhill from there. As of just over 24 hrs ago, I took my last vicodin i'm fine chasing it. its not even helping my pain anymore. My normal day dosage ended up being up to 120Mg a day of norco. It wasn't phasing me, even at that massive dosage. My question is, how long will the actually physical symptoms of withdrawal last?
Avatar f tn If you are having blurred vision and confusion I would encourage you to seek medical care asap - I highly doubt that is still from vicodin withdrawal and you may have other issues going on. Usually the worst of the withdrawals is the first 5 days then you would just feel weak for a couple weeks. What you are experiencing is not normal. Call your doctor or go to ER.
Avatar m tn I am tapering down from at least 4 - 7.5 mg Vicodin and several 12.8 codiene phosphate to about 4 Vicodin per day. I am waking with terrible shahes and nausea as wall as other problems. O am trying the therapy of medicines recommended on this site. This is about my 3rd day of tapering. Should I take a Vicodin first thing to help out. I can't stand this feeling.
Avatar m tn My pain was so bad that they put me on fentanynil patches for 30 days and I am wondering how they will go trhu with taku=ing my off these patches. I have taken btween 600-700 vicodin and percocets before the patches and want to know the process of ending this.
Avatar f tn Hi~ I think you could just stop. I say this because I took Vicodin in Sept. for two months. I had broken my leg; a mess. After two months I just didn't want to take it anymore and I stopped. Nothing. I didn't even think about it at the time. It was not my DOC. You actually may feel a lot better!
Avatar m tn Ok what about Vicodin? Would taking Vicodin slow or halt the recovery process from quitting Zoloft? You know since my brain is in a weak state since I'm recovering from stopping Zoloft, I think. I ask because I was addicted to Vicodin for a month and a half AFTER quitting Zoloft. I was taking 60-80mg of hydrocodone a day during that month and a half period. Would taking Vicodin weaken my body and prolong the withdrawal process from Zoloft?
Avatar m tn I'm just collecting my thoughts here, I was taking between 12-15 vicodin 10's a day for about a year. I mean over a year I built up to that amount and have been doing it steady for about 5 months. I was moved acrossed the country by my job. A very good job that I like, and lost access to my supplier, and it ***** that my ability to handle my addiction was.
Avatar f tn Vicodin will probably suppress your withdrawal symptoms while in your system. Tramadol withdrawal is usually easier and faster than Vicodin. Usually will be 3 days and then starts getting easier. Have you spoken to your doctor about your plans to withdrawal? May be he can help you through your symptoms just for a short few days.
Avatar f tn I've been taking 0.25mg of Ativan four times a day for about 6 weeks for anxiety. I haven't taken any for 4 days and feels really anxious and am having trouble sleeping. I also take Vicodin 5/500 1/2 tab 2-4 times a day. I was also taking that for anxiety. I'm still taking the Vicodin hoping that it will help me get off Ativan. I'm really scared by all the stuff I've read about Ativan and wish I'd never started it.I guess my question is: Will I feel better soon?
Avatar n tn My question is what are the symptoms of vicodin withdrawal. I have been taking 8 tablets a day for over a year. I know that doesnt sound like a lot to some people but for me that is quite a bit. I have been experiencing overall pain for quite some time. I would get prescriptions for vicodin(5mg...7.5mg and 10mg) also I would be get prescriptions for tramadol. I would use them the way I was supposed to and then stop when I didnt need them.
Avatar f tn Today is day 8 of vicodin withdrawal. I was using vicodin since November, starting at one and a half and going up to two and a half. Months ago I tried tapering down to one but then went up to two again. A month ago, I went through my third of three abdominal surgeries in the last year. After each surgery, I was given a few days worth of pain medicine but back in November I got the script from a neurologist for my back and I've had access to it ever since.
