Vicodin with green spots

Common Questions and Answers about Vicodin with green spots

vicodin

I did went to ER seeking drugs, I did not ask for any, and none I came with. I even have here at my house half a bottle of Vicodin and Tramadol and have not touched them in 14 or 15 days. I'm weaning off slowly from Xanax and I'm not increasing back my dose, and I quit cold turkey Tramadol and Vicodin. You should be more careful in labeling people.
I've almost accepted the fact that after 6 1/2yrs I WILL be living with physical pain for the rest of my life. Vicodin highs help me more mentally and emotionally than what it does physically. STRESS, my job functions, weather, female problems, and being the sole caretaker of my stroke-born son only makes the pain worse. That is why my 1st doc told me to live with the pain, easier said than done,2nd and 3rd doc says stay on vicodin since I'm a LONG TERM USER.
I have had chronic rhomboid muscle pain on the right side for 10 years, and have seen numerous MD's(MRI with no significant problem found), Chiropractors (Adjustments & pressure point message), Physical Therapists (waste of money) and a Neurologist that is currently performing acupuncture. I self medicate with Ibuprofen, and sleep on an ice pack every night.
When and if I find something that helps, I will post. Meanwhile, my thoughts are with all of us who have these crazy symptoms with no answers. Hang in there.
I get these unexplained chills all the time, where im freezing cold with goose bumps all over my body. They hurt and I can barely walk they are so bad sometimes. I check my temp when I get these episodes and its perfectly normal. I do not have a infection or am not sick. Im not even in a cold environment. Everyone around me is not cold. Its the weirdest thing, and I cant find a answer for it. Its like my body is messed up and sending these chills for no reason. Please help.
My sister recently began to notice large bruises on her body for no apparent reason. I know these can be symptoms of an illness, but am not sure what illness. I do know that she was diagnosed with Hepatitis years ago, but it has been "dormant" for years. Could these bruises have anything to do with this, or are we way off base??She has gone to her doctor, and I assume blood work is in progress, but thought the Internet might offer some help??
Apparantly everyone is different. Age, physique, general health, length of time. You haven't been on that long, although seven a day is a pretty large dose and from your description you are most assuredly addicted. Here's what happened to me, after two years of 2 a day. I was starting to get up to four a day and decided to get off cold turkey. I admitted my problem to my wife and destroyed the last of the pills I had on hand. That was hard.
YOU GUESSED IT, Vicodin!...and I did not drink while on the meds so I just continued to not drink as it felt so great to be sober..How ironic is that? Sometimes I wonder if the vics is what made me quit drinking! I think also it is because I KNEW I wanted it, and was done with that ride. I have though drank ON RARE occasion..I think maybe 5 ( if that) times in 4 years I have been out and only a couple drinks and would feel nothing but tired and ready to come home!
I stumbled upon this conversation after Googling "cocaine + sinus infection" because I shared a similar bad experience with Nick. After doing a few lines the night before, I woke up the next morning with my head spinning from sinus congestion & my ears were ringing & my throat was sore. I took a hot shower, & the steam must have made me clear out a large scab looking thing from my sinus & another from the back of my throat.
Let me briefly describe myself - A 54 year old male who has been on vicodin since1996. Since 96 it slowly progressed into 1 or 2 a day with some days never taking any to 6 to 8 a day, everyday since about 2005. Im surprised my liver hasn't failed. I did take precautions, I took milk thistle and NAC 600 religiously and a multi vitamin along with Allie. Yep, Allie, it took away the constipation. Now- ive been clean for 8 days for the first time in over a decade.

I have spinal stenosis and I depend on Vicodin and Percoset. I am in tears writing this to you all and am finally fed up with wondering if I will be around for my 3 kids in the future. I have increased my intake of Vicodin to 3-10MG Pills ever 3 to 4 times and day and that doesnt even phase me. I only get percoset once a month and blow through that just to not have pain. Surgery is not an option yet since it will get worse.
[1][2] The name derives from the fact that, in the sagittal view, the SMA and AA (with some imagination) appear to be a nutcracker crushing a nut (the renal vein). I was originally Diagnosed with Pelvic Congestion after complaining for many years of Chronic pelvic pain, left sided flank pain, lower back, and lower limbs. My husband and I were also trying to conceive for 6 years and all the doctors could tell me was that I had a great looking uterus.
the other resulted in a back injury that severely interfered with my life. My GP started me on vicodin 5/500. After about a year of this, I was referred to a pain clinic. At this point, I was put on Lortab (7.5/750) because of escalating pain. They then gave me a fentanyl patch and morphine, which I refused after trying, because they made me feel drugged.
I mentioned last week in the forum that I had picked July 25th as my last day of taking the non=addicting Ultram - the closer it gets, the apprehensive I become - in fact, I just took 4 Lortabs and they have not affected me in the least where as years ago, I would have been buzzing around full of pep, energy and witty sayings.

I am an addiction counselor for last 18 years on a hospital detox unit. My first acquaintance with "ultram" 12 years or so ago was when the drug rep brought us several cases of ultram samples. Told us how great it was. We read the literature, checked the PDR... near the end there was a short paragraph; something like "potential for abuse and dependence considered minimal.
Well after the operation I thought I'd better cut down as constipation was real bad issue, up to 45mins to pass what seemed like an Elephant, I even ruptured a nose blood vessel with the straining at one time, and as a friend who had had the same operation was off painkillers after 3 weeks I thought now's the time. ( 05/12/07 ) So taking the bull by the horns I cut down to 40mg 2x a day, and never expected what happens next.
This may cause some people feel additional withdrawal symptoms or intensified psychological withdrawal symptoms when discontinuing tramadol. It is always advised to talk with your doctor before and while discontinuing this medication. _______________________________________________________________ Yeah.
That is a fast taper and there is no way our bodies had time to catch up but thus far it has made a world of difference. I finally ended up having surgery and left the hospital with a prescription for both percoset and vicodin (lovely huh). I was taking 4-5 percosets at a time (once per day) for both the pain and the pleasure. I have reached the point where I am out of both, am seeing my doctor tomorrow, and am unsure whether to seek another prescription, or not say anything and go cold turkey off the pain meds.
Don't just start poking at it with a needle or something or you will find yourself with an even worse infection. So get back in touch with your doc and good luck!
Lunch was chicken broth, orange gelatin, grape juice, tea, and water. Dinner was beef broth, green gelatin, apple juice, tea, and water. I was okay with it the first day. But my doctor had told me that I would be able to eat the next day. The next day I actually wound up getting liquid meals for breakfast and lunch again before I saw my doctor. He showed me where on the order he had written that I could begin eating solids on Saturday morning, but the Nurses didn’t follow it correctly.
3 days after the MC I started feeling dizzy and it's been on and off since with random headaches on random spots. Is this because of hormones too? I didn't bleed for about a week then started spotting a rusty red colour which has been going on only when I wipe for 5 days now. I feel like a total disaster and don't know whats normal or what I'm supposed to feel. Your comments have definitely helped. I feel like a lot of it is anxiety from not knowing. Can someone help my piece of mind some more.
I had already tapered myself down to about 60-80mg perday, then went cold, on the third day I hurt so bad I finally went to the hospital and they treated me with Suboxone for 3 days. Starting with 4mg per day and I started feeling better almost immediately so I asked if we could taper the Suboxone. The one thing that really confused me was that even though i had not taken any methadone for 6 days by the time i got out of the hospital I was still coming up positive for methadone in my urine.
