vicodin urine test

I just got a letter from my doctor saying that a second consecutive urine test showed no vicodin in my urine, and that his office will no longer prescribe vicodin for me. I'm beside myself because I know I took my vicodin the day before the test. My new Rx was due the week after the test and I obviously didn't get my prescription. The only thing that I can possibly think of that is my fault is that I drink a tremendous amount of water every day, probably more than a gallon.

Being discharged for a failed urine test-not having the prescribed vicodin in your system, AND having oxycodone NOT prescribed show up positive is likely going to make it very difficult, if not highly unlikely that another doctor will take you on as a new patient for some time.

My current PM is not the best........he cancels every other appt....he has 4 x's forgot to bring my file with him. Also, once he argued with me that he would have never given me Vicodin ES 2x a day. He finally got his trusted computer and was proven wrong! I do not appreciate the treatment he gives me! Since Sept I was on one Vicodin ES, then for the past 2 months I got him reluctantly to give me 2 a day. Which by itself still only gives me 4 hrs a day of having no pain.

I have been clean off vicodin and xanax for 2 weeks, but my urine drug test, still comes out positive. How is this so?

It depends on if it is lab test or the quick test. now my dr uses a quick test that shows illeagal oxy hydro and others seperate.

I took vicodin off and on for chronic pain through my pregnant. I have weaned off of it, my last one being a half dose about 3 1/2 days ago (I am 38 weeks along) I am wondering will my drug test be clean at the hospital and will the baby's urine drug screen be clean as well? s and he started screening my urine for vicodin and it has been coming back clean? I take my pain medication on a regular basis and there should be no reason why it isnt showing. My Dr. is now accusing me of selling my pain medication and I have no way to defend myself. Can someone please give me advice.

She slipped up on Thursday Aug 7 and took 4 5mg Vicodins. My question is - Will she test positive on a urine test on Monday Aug 18nth? Hi: It all depends on when you took your last Vicodin. A blood test is the ultimate test to detect the Vicodin. I'm suprised that they sisn't find any if you had taken it in the last 24 hrs. I have heard of Vicodan metabolizing to Morphine but not for it to be totally absent when and if you were taking it.

the only difference is that Norco has less acetaminophen than Vicodin (325mg vs 500 in Vicodin). Also, the Vicodin your mom has contains less hydrocodone than the Norco you are prescribed, and the half-life of hydrocodone is a maximum of 6 hours which means the levels of the extra Norco you took should be out of your system by the time you have your urine test, so I wouldn't worry this time about being "caught" taking extra pills this time. But I agree with silverfox67.

It is my understanding that Suboxone is used to help an addict get off of prescription pills, so why would a doctor say this? He is trying to get Vicodin from someone, saying he needs to have a urine test and it has to come up that he is using in order for him to get the Suboxone. If he comes up clean, they won't give it to him. Does this sound correct? Or is he just trying to pull the wool over her eyes?

I see my pain Dr once a month and at each visit I roll dice, if I roll doubles I have to take a urine test. There was a month I rolled doubles, I took the test and the test came back negative for for anything. I was accused of the same thing, I do not know what happened but I have not stopped the Suboxone. I had to submit to a urine test every month for 6 months because of that one test.

So I see my doctor today and he says that my drug test showed only Soma in my urine and NO Vicodin. I told him I take the Vicodin every single day. He told me I was a liar and said he knows the truth and the truth was on that paper he was holding. He said I was probably selling them or I gave him someone else's urine (ewww!). I DID NOT!!! I would recommend a re-test and this time a blood rather than urine test. I have pernicious anemia (a weird blood disorder) and have my blood drawn at least once evey 3 months. My tests are done by a Hemotoligist at the hospital lab to ensure there are no mistakes caused by the transfer of my sample from the doc's ofc to the lab....... Even with these precautions, my tests have to be re-done at least once a year due to an error....... it happens.

You will test negative as I understand your test is at least 4-5 days away. You NEED to report this to the police dept and get a report for your PM and call them and tell them what has happened! Do this immediately, if your PM has a answering service leave a message that your meds were stolen and you need to get them a copy of the police report and see the Dr. In my experience this will help the Dr understand you are responsible for your meds even though they were stolen.
