Vicodin urine test

Common Questions and Answers about Vicodin urine test

vicodin

Vicodin has a relatively short half life, it should be out of your system by then, assuming you dont consume anything else.
Listen to these folks...as we all have been there. Count the pills immediately, or at least find another spot to put them. Tell your father of the situation. I too, have stolen pills from family members. I am very ashamed of it, very, very ashamed. An addicted person will do these things, so don't think that you are over reacting. Follow your instincts. If you confront him, and you get "the sermon"...ask him to take a urine test. That is what I am doing. I wanted it.
I will be having a drug test at the hospital and so will the baby. Urine testing. My question is how long will it show up on urine tests? I am having a csection at 39 weeks along. I am not looking for judgement, please. I am just wanting an honest answer.
But what I wanted to say is kind of what you were talking about, I've been reading on the posts lately and it does seem like there are quite a few people that are failing the urine tests with the fentanyl. I'm wondering if it is something with the lab tests, or wrong person urine, because from what I've read it just seems like fentanyl stays in your system for a long time.
I have been clean off vicodin and xanax for 2 weeks, but my urine drug test, still comes out positive. How is this so?
I just got a letter from my doctor saying that a second consecutive urine test showed no vicodin in my urine, and that his office will no longer prescribe vicodin for me. I'm beside myself because I know I took my vicodin the day before the test. My new Rx was due the week after the test and I obviously didn't get my prescription. The only thing that I can possibly think of that is my fault is that I drink a tremendous amount of water every day, probably more than a gallon.
She slipped up on Thursday Aug 7 and took 4 5mg Vicodins. My question is - Will she test positive on a urine test on Monday Aug 18nth? Thanks one and all for your response - the anxiety and fear is driving her insane and I would love to put her mind at ease or confirm her fears. Either way, not knowing his driving her stress levels through the roof. Thanks, again.
he asked me if I have ever had my urine checked. Is this a drug test? I'm told 2 vicodin es a day is very low amount. But this guy has me feeling like a drug addict in less than a year! I need a new PM, but if anyone knows what this test is please tell me. Also, if anyone knows of any good PM's in the Pittsburgh area please let me know!
It is my understanding that Suboxone is used to help an addict get off of prescription pills, so why would a doctor say this? He is trying to get Vicodin from someone, saying he needs to have a urine test and it has to come up that he is using in order for him to get the Suboxone. If he comes up clean, they won't give it to him. Does this sound correct? Or is he just trying to pull the wool over her eyes?
I'm hoping that you can help me out. On Tuesday, I took two Vicodin 500mgs for my back pain. I've had them left over for when I had some dental work done months back. It's my first time taking it in about 7 months. I am a 22 year old male and weigh 145 lbs. I'm very active with a high metabolism and work in hot weather 10 hours a day. My problem is that I've been randomly selected for a urine drugs test on Friday sometime, giving me 3 days to clean out my system.
Basically, I was a junkie. I loved taking vicodin along with any other drug I could get my junkie hands on. Vicodin and lortab were my vices. I started my addiction in 2007 and it lasted 3 years until early 2010. All things considered I never really went overboard with them. I think the most I ever took on a given day never exceeded 7. It wasn't until around December of 2008 when I did the stupidest thig anyone could ever do.... I combined alcohol and acetaminophen. And I did it alot.
They switched me to a PA because they were swamped, it had nothing to do with my urine test (which I was scared to death about). The urine tests he takes, he tests only to seem if for instance, you are prescribed Percocet as a breakthrough med and you take a couple of Vicodin if you run out. They test for the levels of what you are supposed to be one vs what you have taken, Was on methadone for years....
I have been on Vicodin for 2 years or longer, for my back pain, I have had back surgery and I am still in pain... I had to take a urine test last month, the nurse said it was fine... I came back this month and the Dr. said my test was negative.. I told him i take my meds everyday... one in the morning and one in the afternoon...
It depends on if it is lab test or the quick test. now my dr uses a quick test that shows illeagal oxy hydro and others seperate.
said that they don't really use the fda categories anymore, but instead look specifically at the test results and past history of any complications caused by vicodin. Also, any meds that have not had human testing are automatically placed on the category c list, regardless. Vicodin is safe, my o.b. said I need to taper off it during my third trimester (so the baby is not born addicted). Tapering is important to do during preg.
It is almost impossible for an addict to come clean with everything all at once. A urine test will tell it all as subutex does not show on urine test. But I would be pissed if my wife asked me to ****. I am clean for 14 days.
A mecomium test is more accurate for testing past drug use in the baby, a urine is the most simple and can be done at any hospital; meconium tests are more expensive and harder to access. If the woman was only taking tylenol with codeine there would be no cause for alarm as this drug is routinely prescribed for pregnant women with pain (I broke my tailbone in pregnancy and was on tylenol #2).
The active ingredient in vicodin and percocet is tylenol so that is why it is prescribed to women during pregnancy for severe pain. I took it throughout my pregnancy and was monitored very closely. I gave birth to my DD at a VERY healthy weight and she was fine.
The surgery was successful, unfortunately I reherniated a few weeks later and have been on vicodin ever since. In the beginning I took 1-2 pills a day, that inched up to 2-3 and then 3-4. The real downturn started in December. I was given a 120 a month prescription for 3 months. Needless to say, I ran through these pills 16 days early.
Hi I'm a mother of 4, married , and Vicodin addict. I want to stop but there are a few problems. First of all I have legit pain from a skiing accident that caused permenant damage to my lower back and right knee. I've had 3 surgeries (which is how the vicodin got started). I used to manage nicely with 3 VicodinES a day. 4 years later I'm up to 10-12 a day(that amazingly don't even make me high, not even a buzz). If you met me you would have no idea I was addicted to anything.
I would recommend a re-test and this time a blood rather than urine test. I have pernicious anemia (a weird blood disorder) and have my blood drawn at least once evey 3 months. My tests are done by a Hemotoligist at the hospital lab to ensure there are no mistakes caused by the transfer of my sample from the doc's ofc to the lab....... Even with these precautions, my tests have to be re-done at least once a year due to an error....... it happens.
I had brain tumor surgery 7 months ago and started with the Vicodin/Tylenol daily and now just take Tylenol and Neurontin daily. How bad is it to take Tylenol daily for 7 months ? Can this cause liver damage?
I am pretty sure percs are stronger than the vics. They are both made with tylenol as well and also come with different brand names but are the same generic ingredients.... hope that helps some.
this is my first post on here and i am pretty ashamed that it has come to this. i have been taking vicodin 10/660's on and off for the past few months. my tolerance has gotten so bad that this past week there were like 3 or 4 days i ended up taking 11 1/2 and one day even 12. i kinda started freaking out and i keep getting paranoid that i might have damaged my liver. there is no nausea or vomiting, but i've had this slight pinching in my right abdomen below my ribcage.
You can't do that and that is reason enough to stop this madness right now. Are they doing a urine test in 10 days? We can't tell you how to pass it but I think it's safe to tell you that if you stop the pills now, you'll be fine.
I was taking vicodin for a severe tooth ache, after this I became addicted, I enjoyed the high. I took about 4 tablets a day for about 2 months and I was on it on off after that. Now I have stopped, it has a week since I last took my last vicodin. Anxiety and insomnia kicked in right away. It got better about the fifth day but I had an anxiety and nervousness attack on my seventh day. Is this normal, will this go away or will the anxiety always peak in.
