No disrespect, but this is one of the more absurd questions I have read. You are on an anti-depressant (lexapro) and consuming alcohol, a CNS depressant, AND taking another mind-numbing substance (Vicodin). You should be taking Lexapro ONLY to deal with depression or whatever reason you are taking it. Both other meds are contraindicated for Lexapro. Smarten up.
One week ago today Friday 17th, I went from 10 vics a day to 4 (10/325) Sat I took only 2, Sunday only 2 and Monday @ 5 pm I only took 1 and no more since, I have been taking vics for over 3 yrs. now from a accident and realized I didn't need them Like I thought I did. I am doing pretty good compared to those first days of changing my dose and some anxiety alittle still. But bearable. But when can maybe I expect the bowel movements to get back to normal?
When I tried to get to the bottom of that and explain that if he asked that, I misunderstood and assumed it was the Vicodin & Tylenol IV he meant (though I doubt he asked that; all I remember him asking is if I took my Tegretol that morning because if I had it would screw up my level). I couldn't even finish the sentence when he said if there was a misunderstanding it was my fault. I asked him if he'd sit down and discuss this. And he refused. He he was leaving.

Well the doctor I go to she doesn't give ultrasound pictures and I don't even know the gender of my child .
They think this was the cause of his withdrawal. He was getting angry and violent so they sedated him and kept him sedated for almost a week. Three days after being taken out of sedation, he still is confused. The hospital wants to transfer him to a 24 hour care facility because he doesn't need the hospital anymore, but he can't be left alone. Anyway, my question is what would be causing his confusion? And will it most likely go away?
the health pages r full of information like the thomas recipe/also an article on tapering and the main point is small doses thru the day and slowly cut down on the daily dose...warning tho/it is hard for an addict to taper..cheating is so easy when u hold ur pills so many hand them over to someone they trust...would be glad to help u with a taper..depending on ur current dose sometimes it is easier just to ct and quit...flsuh remaining pills and go for it...
I formerly was terribly addicted to vicodin. The suboxone has been wonderful and have not relapsed since starting my treatment. Life is great now! However, I believe I am pregnant...I am 3 days late and am taking a test tonight. I am already concerned about suboxone and my possible unborn child. Does anyone have any information on the drug and the effects on a fetus? Please help! Thank you!
For each of these I was prescribed either hydrocodone (vicodin) and tylenol 3. I have terrible reactions to these meds.I feel sick to my stomach, very dizzy, and I usually end up vomiting or having dry heaves (not fun when you have abdominal stitches for a gallbladder extraction.) They didn't help much with the pain either and I decided the pain was preferable to the side effects of the drugs.
I'm withdrawing from both Vicodin and fentanyl patches at the same time. While I can deal with all the withdrawal symptoms themselves I can't deal with the pain. I got into some legal trouble and now my doctor won't prescribe any pain meds. I am in so much pain. How can I get any relief without opiates?????

I am not sure where to start. I have been taking vicodin for almost two years now. I take 6-10 a day and I want to stop. I have stopped in the past but always start back up. I have never got help before. I am scared to ask my doctor, because I work full-time and have kids. Can your family doc. report you to your job or anything like that?
