I read up on Symbyax and it containes IM-Olanzapine, and that there has been 29 deaths since September 30th 2005 due to mixing the IM-Olanxapine and xanax...so My question more less is...Is there anybody familiar with this that can tell me if they have personally mixed the two before and what was the outcome, or if anybody has any information about the two had being mixed?

just a quick comment and my opinon . Zanibars or Zanbars are street names for Xanax , I take Xanax and it is a Generic and is stamped G 37 22 , so chances are it could be a generic Xanax . I'm not saying it is or isn't a Xanax . Go to this website :Erowid Alpraolam Vault , and if the picture you see is of what I just said was on mine and it looks like it , then it might be a generic Xanax that your cousin has .

I know I'm worrying about something with such a miniscule chance that I would be the miracle case if I had HIV, or even any std, for that matter. But as you obviously know, it's extremely difficult to turn off that worry center of the brain, especially with an unborn child involved.

Fair enough. I panicked and got tested anyway, and everything was negative. Of course it's too soon for hiv, but you've alleviated my concerns on that end. Hopefully that means I can get back to regular life soon.

My friend that is a doctor called me in a perscrition of Ativan and said to take 1mg as needed and that I should be fine and would detox from the pain meds and xanax in a few days. Fact is, I'm really not even sure if/which one I'm craving, But I know that in the afternooons I have to take something to get rid of the jitterbugs. I have an appointment with another doctor (addictionoligist) in a few days but if anyone could offer some advice here I would surely appreciate it. Thanks!

The only problem is that at 33 years old I never struggled with anxiety, I was always very ahppy go lucky until the Vicodin addiction... I am very ready to take nothing and quite frankly almost out of xanax and have no way of getting more and really dont want to.. I think one of the things that scares me is the thought that I could have seizures from going off the xanax, but, can I coming off of .25mg a day?

Since I started to wean off my Xanax addiction I quit taking the Vicodin and Tramadol, except for 1 day had bad migraine and none Imitrex pills, my insurance only covers 9 pills and paying them is more than 200 dollars. The point is that I do not feel side effects or W/D effects from quitting the Vicodin and Tramadol. It this possible? I didn't even knew Tramadol was an opiate until I joined this community.

Just my experience....I stopped the vicodin cold turkey and was also on xanax 2 mlg twice daily for 15 years. With my doctors guidance I did a very slow taper and am off them as well. Definately speak with yor doctor....going off xanax especially after 20 years needs to be monitored by a doctor BUT it can be done. I feel so much better off the xanax! Good luck to you foxy!

I've been taking Xanax .5 mg 1 a day for 4 to 5 months now. I was getting them off the street for my anxiety. I also was snorting vicodin 7.5 mg for 6 to 7 months 1 to 3 a day. I've been off the vicodin for 3 days now. And this is my 1st day not taking the Xanax. I don't want to get a seizure bc of not taking the Xanax. But I want to quit these pills bc I feel they r controlling me. The withdrawals suck on the vicodin. But I hope I can beat this.

but in my personal experience, thats all that vicodin does, too. vicodin makes me violently ill and i found that ibuprofen, tylenol and asprin all worked better than the vicodin...but i talked to my doc first, which is what you should do.

Hi, I have tapering since Sept 21, 2012 25mcg of Fentanyl Patch I was prescribed and on for almost 2 years. I went off the patch on Sept 21,2012, and am tapering with Vicodin ( 45 mg per day in DIVIDED doses over a 24 hour period) and 6 MG Xanax ( also in divided doses ) in a 24 hour period. Does ANYONE have experience about WHEN and HOW to taper off these " taper" meds?

m feeling daily pain in shoulder blades, like knots forming there and are painful to the touch, my muscles in the back of the neck and shoulder are tense and almost daily I have migraines, which is very debilitating. I'm not feeling anxiety or panick attacks, so I think is not from the Xanax tapering off. Could it be that these symptoms are from the Vicodin/Tramadol withdrawal? What can it helps to at least avoid the migraines? Thans in advance for your input.

i do have experiene tapering and know that sleep is an issue...there are many on here who have used xanax and can give you some feedback on it.... keep up the good work on your tapering i know it isnt easy at times.

Are you saying that your doctor has prescribed you the vicodin and the xanax too? If you are abusing these meds,whether they are prescribed to you by the doctor or not,then yes you and your baby could be in trouble.You need to be totally honest with your doctor about the abuse and 'possible' addiction for your babys health as well as your own.None of us here are doctors,more importantly we are not YOUR doctor.

Hi, I am in the same boat. Started back on vicodin after a 2 months break. I was taking soma and vicodin but can't get the soma anymore so the Dr. tells me to take the vicodin. I cannot take any anti inflammatory and Tylenol Arthritis just doesn't take the edge off. So here I am again on 2-3 vicodin a day. Not sure how else to manage the pain. I, too, feel like a failure as have stopped this 3 times already but the pain gets the best of me...

I still ahve anxiety, my doctor gave me Celexa which is okay, my question is, is it okay to take Xanax and Celexa together? I used to take Xanax too for panic attacks, and for now I know it will make me feel better. Does anyone know if they can be taken together? I have never been hooked on Xanax at all, so that is not a problem.

Are you still taking the Xanax? Why did you switch to Klonpin? I have used both meds and did a lot of reading up on them and one thing they do say about Klonopin is that it can in some cases make your depression worst. Have you thought about asking the Dr to go back to the Xanax? Did you feel any less depressed on that drug? Either way I think you may be down bc of the withdrawls from Vicodin. Best of luck to you!

25 mg, but I have been taking up to 2 mg lately, ever since I decided to quit the vicodin. I am not feeling right, and I am finding that I am starting to really crave the xanax. So I want to stop taking it too. My question is this, what possible withdrawal affects should I expect from xanax? Any feedback would be helpful. These pills will NOT be the end of me.

All seemed ok. He was prescribed Nortriptylene and Xanax. The Xanax seemed to help him a lot but drowsy. When he saw his primary Dr 6 days later, he said absolutely not on the xanax The other ok. she is trying to get me calmed down so i can off taper off the vicodin and xanax. now i hear bad things about zyprexa. i can get past the weight gain, but not the sleepiness it can cause. i am afraid to take it. i know it is an antisycotic drug or how ever it is spelled. i am just thinking about throwing out all of my pills and living with this anxiety and depression. i guess the new thing now is take this drug if an antidepressant does not work. i can hear it makes you a zombie.
