Awwww JDM, why so bitter? All medications can have side effects. It seems that the beta blocker has helped your heart to calm down so that you are not bothered by tachycardia. When I was in my 50's it came as a surprise to me too that some of the symptoms I was feeling were due to aging, not to any specific disease. Sad but true, it comes to all of us if we live long enough. Really 25 mg of Atenolol is nothing.
What do you think about using silidafil, risks for VFib/side effects, or us other meds to address dstlic function? 5. TREAT/PULMVEIN-STENOSIS. The hypertension med won’t help if the increased pressures are caused by stenosis of the pulmonary vein(s). Am I right? How can I treat this stenosis if it is the cause? 6. TREAT/ADD LEAD. They suggested putting a new lead in to pace a diff part of the atrium that might better conduct contraction. Let me know your quick professional thoughts on 4-6.
My husband was diagnosed with Hepatitis C and started Pegintron/Ribavirin treatment immediately. We have managed most of the side effects, but he has completely lost any desire for sex (I know he feels bad many days from the other side effects!), but even when he has a good week, he is impotent....... Is this a common side effect? We married only one month before he started treatment, so I guess it wasn't the easiest way to begin living together. Any comments or encouragement?
I must admit to being a little concerned about all this as the nurse mentioned to me several side effects. Are there cases where the tablets work without any effects? If I am unlucky enough to be one of the people who get side effects, are there alternatives? I honestly thought that the diuretics would be enough and I am upset at the thought of taking these drugs long term. One other question.
Cholesterol went up which I never had a problem with that, I'm sleepy all the time. Plus side, this drug is like Viagra. Don't Luke the overall effects want to try something else.
The good thing about this med though is it usually does not cause any sexual side effects. It could be your anxiety med. Did the ED start around the same time you started the anxiety med? You're on a pretty high dose too. You've seen more than one Dr about this.Have they done any testing. If not, they should. It's true that anxiety and depression both can come with a very long list of side effects. ED can be one of them. Are you in therapy?
drugs DO work for a lot of people, and if they can get such benefit without debilitating side effects, more power to them. In my case, every rotten drug they've tried on me had perverse impacts. Attenolol, Accupril, Clonodine, Toprol, and a standard diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide) all did damage. Both Clonodiine and Toprol actually caused dangerous spikes in my BP. Toprol drove my (formerly excellent) lipid measurements skyhigh ... all in about 8 weeks or so (e.g.
After I'm on the 150 mg for several weeks, I'm cutting back a little more so I can determine the right dosage again that works for me with the least amount of side effects. Right now, I cannot sleep with this higher dose and am adjectated.

My doc also want me to try the antidepressents he gave me zoloft but I read that one of the serious side effects is heart palps, or tachycarida. So I myself have been afraid to take it. What if my heart starts in and I dont know if its a serious side effect or just me being me. Has anyone had that side effect? I would love to take it and be happy again and not worry about the nsvt. The doc did however say exactly what you said that you wouldnt worry about it and have your life back.
When the dr questioned me on why I wanted the device removed I told him the story. Do you know what he said to me ? That these are not side effects of the Mirena. BULLSH.IT !! I see it as my body did everything it could to fight off this foreign object inside of me. That day he asked me when the last time i had an infection and I told him just on Monday that I was itching. So he took a culture and what a surprise I had a bacterial infection !!
It took me about a year to finally break down and get help. And even though I cant type for **** and if (one of the side effects of klonopin is clumsiness) this is clumsy well then hurricanes are a rainshower, then so be it. But I feel NORMAL again. God help my emplyees when I am late on my dose LOL thank god they really like working for me.....But you cannot do it alone. And you are not alone. There are millions of us out there fighting this infection of the mind. But see your doc.
I hear you! I had to laugh though today...My poor husband is surrounded by hormonal females...Myself with the perimenopause issues, my 11 year old daughter with puberty (I was asked yesterday if I thought that she needed a training bra yet and "What was Viagra for? Oh boy...) and now our young cat has come "into season" and is yowling all over the house...LOL He says he's going to move to a fishing hut for the next ten years... Maybe we have a head-start on this thing?
However, I do on occassion take a pill for pain called Tramadol, and one of it's side effects is to make me very thirsty hours after taking it. This drying out also effects my PND as it seems to really thin out the secretions so that even though I still seem to have to swallow more than I think is normal, it doesn't make me feel as if my throat is clogged so I cut back on the throat clearing considerably!
Well I took 1 or 2 pills of wellbutrin and didn't like the side effects (i think the side effects was actually just the stress), Anyway I didn't take any medication and dec passed then jan passed and they all just went away. A year goes by, no problems then I started a 3 month study program to promote within the police department. It was/is a very stressful process and not one someone with a stress or anxiety problem should even think of attempting.
I actually have a low normal TSH level and a low normal Free T4 level, BUT I have so many symptoms of hypothyroidism -- weight gain (not able to lose), fatigue, moodiness, can't focus, constipation (even with fiber), cold hands/feet, low BBT and low temp throughout the day, hair loss (no hair under arms, minimal on legs), dry skin/hair, thick skin on feet, recurrent sinus infections, etc.
it usually starts from bottom right side and goes to left side. sometimes after i masturbate i get very very strong pain from all my testicles that i cant even stand, sit or touch it.it hurts so much and can stay for two three hours. so, my only question is all my tests came out as normal. so can my hernia cause this problem? and can this be because of adrenal fatigue as i havent done any tests for it? thanks a lot!!!
I thought Tramadol was an amazing drug. Very few of the side effects of narcotics, but excellent pain control. I had no clue that I could become seriously addicted to it. I don't even know if any of the normal therapies for managing withdrawal would work for tramadol, but I've somewhere down the road anyway. I just wish I knew how long it would all take. It's so muc easier to be in a hard place if you know when it's going to end. I guess I'm paying for my pain free months this month.
Also, a question for the gang about glucose. Mine is right on the cusp of out of range to the high side. When does it become an issue? Should I be concerned now? Should I be working on eliminating all refined sugar from the diet? What else?
take action before your looking at him from the other side of the bars.i ve never used heroin but saw this with my cousin unfold over the last 5 years, dont let his crying full ya get him somewhere!before you dont have a say.
HC has a very short half life - which is a good thing as the side effects long term are then minimal (unless doses are too high) and testing can be done after a couple of days. For a chronic disease such as this - you should have regular appointments.
hey: try to avoid the "naltrexone route" unless it's the only thing that works. There can be some very bad side effects from this "easy" method to detox. stick with what Wizzard told you and you should be able to get off no problem.
I've had my fair share of yeast infections, but nothing that compares to the after effects of this MONISTAT OVULE. The pain and itching and burning is much more intense after urination, then subsides to a mild tender ache all over down there. I even thought maybe I have a UTI, so started drinking cranberry juice, never had one before. If the FDA doesn't do something about MONISTAT, then we need to seriously re-evaluate how much we can trust them with ANYTHING!
It usually happens on the palm side of various fingers, but in April, I had one rupture on my knuckle. I'm very interested in any comments.

Dreadful Antibiotics and they should be taken off the market.. I only took one Avelox and experienced some alarming side effects.levoquin was a littel easier but after 5 days i could hardly get out of bed because i hurt so much and the nightmares where just alarming.Ok nothing to do with Menopause i know..sorry..I,m also going through Meno and my skin has gotten very dry and kinda saggy... Miserable isnt it.
I know I'll miss that and it's that which worries me more than the physical side effects of stopping. I've stopped before so I know the night time jitters are by far the worst thing to cope with and I'm hoping that a herbal sleep remedy will help. Without anything it feels like ants are crawling in your joints. I feel for everyone who has posted and wish you all the best.
He wears glasses only for distance and has never required any other surgeries. He is very intelligent showing no side effects from the brain bleeds. His only-on going treatments are physio and occupational therapy for low muscle tone which may/may not be linked to prematurity. When I found out I was pregnant, I consulted the doctor who performed the ablation his advice was - terminate! I'm glad I didn't.
