Thank you so much for response. Just for the record, I am not taking Viagra and nitrates at the same time. Viagra works a treat for me. No problems whatsoever, only a flush to the face for side affects too.

I agree w/ GuitarRox - doubtful this one-time deal would do you much harm. But same as GR, I'd want to know why you took Viagra in the 1st place at age 24 - were you experiencing any symptoms that made you think you were developing ED, or was this just sort of an 'experiment' to see what would happen? First, it's never a good idea to take a Rx drug that wasn't prescribed for you, and 2nd, it's an even worse idea to take a larger dose than prescribed.
I couldnt hold an erection for a while without Viagra but only recently got to test the viagra out with a woman, i could hold the erection for an hour or so but could not ejaculate. Admitedly i was drunk at the time but this has been a problem for me ever since i lost my virginity at 16.
I can ejaculate/orgasm when masterbating and hold erections then without viagra but cannot during intercourse.
Id say i am fairly fit and work out 3-4 times a week.

What is below is a reply I put in to a discussion on side effects to ED drugs.
Usually they want to try one of the oral ED meds (Viagra, etc.) first, then if that doesn’t work, the next step would be injections. You have to go to a special compounding pharmacy to have this mix made up for you, can’t get it at Walgreens, WalMart, etc. There are supposedly some on-line pharmacies that will do this, might be able to save a few $$, most insurance doesn’t cover the cost, I think.
Whenever something touch the top, it seems to become orgasm. When I use Viagra in first act for sex it is not useful, but it is useful for second and third and….I think I am using these tablets because of this, I mean I can use it for one person at each time and I have a very bad time in first act in p-v action, but in other try its get better.

Wow, this is a lot of reaction for one time. It can happen. It may have been nerves from not having seen each other for a long time, or fatigue, or whatever, but it was one time.
I don't think you need viagra - and you shouldn't use that unless a doctor prescribes that - and definitely don't take caffeine pills.
If this continues to happen, then you can start to consider why, but it does happen to most guys every now and then, and there's no reason to panic if it does once.

Hi! I underwent urethroplasty five years ago, but didn't experience a lowered sexual drive. However, give him time for recovery, a couple of months more. Also he needs your support and understanding (my girlfriend helped me a lot with the recovery). If he had no sexual drive even before the surgery, then inflammatory issues (prostatitis) or mental condition should be also considered. I go to a local Chinese acupuncturist for my migraines, insomnia and mild impotence. His treatments definitely do help with all three of these conditions.
