I have read in a few websites that there is an increased risk of priapism in patients who take ED drugs like Cialis/Viagra/Levitra and who also have (among other conditions) Sickle Cell Disease and/or Beta Thalassemia.
It's not clear to me whether Beta Thalassemia Minor (my condition) also increases that risk.I could not find much information about it.

First of all, why does he feel he needs Viagra? Is he uninterested in sex? Viagra doesn’t create sexual interest. Is he worried about erections, or is he not having orgasms? Without knowing his situation, it's difficult for me to comment except in a general way.
