Avatar f tn So it has nothing to do with MS. Viagra increases blood flow and it helps a lot. It will drop your blood pressure and you don't want it to drop to a dangerous level, so you need to monitor it. Start with the minimum effective dose which is 25mg and see if it does something for you. If you wait for a study from the FDA on Viagra for MS, then it will probably happen after you are dead. Please try this now. Viagra has a very good safety profile for a number of years now.
Avatar n tn According to the literature on the testosterone cream, he should NOT be using it with liver disease. His doctor also lets him take tylenol for aches and pains associated with the treatment. He pops tylenol probably everyday. I know my husband should be exercising and eating healthier but those are choices he has made (I have tried to tell him that his liver can not handle the extra weight and he nevers goes in for a physical so I have no idea what his cholesterol is).

Avatar f tn I am in my mid 40s, I have ED and peyronie disease and I am taking Viagra to help with my erections because staying hard has been a challenge for the last year. It works well and my wife is happy. Recently I have been curious about using a penis ring in conjunction with Viagra to make my orgasms more intense, however I am slightly worried that this could be dangerous given how Viagra increases blood flow and a ring cuts it off and also... peyronie disease. Is it safe?

Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

Avatar n tn Coming to cialis before starting treatment with this you need to rule out contraindications like liver failure, coronary artery disease, visual disorders etc. But in no way it can be implicated as the cause of infections. Side effects predominantly include dizziness, visual disturbances, nasal congestion, heart-burn, flushing headaches, priapism etc. See what the swab culture tests say, and treatment accordingly. Take care.

Avatar f tn This is something to ask a prescribing doctor about. Don't just order viagra and take it but have a doctor prescribe and take under his supervision. There has been a link shown between have peyronie's disease (curvature of the penis) and erectile dysfunction. That's also something to talk to the doctor about. There is not absolute contraindication not to take viagra if you have a curved penis, no. This article talks about ED actually causing the curved penis! https://consultqd.
Avatar m tn for determining the progression of liver disease. Your liver disease will progress usually over decades of time through the various stages until you reach Stage 4 (cirrhosis). In order to stop this progression, you must be treated for the underlying cause of the inflammation of your liver. In our case, the HCV virus. So I would recommend finding out the current condition of your liver and then decide if you want/need to treat the HCV virus.
Avatar n tn Generally the only reason to be on Viagra is if you are on the older side in years and have had some of these problems and they can't be fixed. But older folks usually are more concerned with sex with a partner, so I'm just wondering, do you have sex with others, how old are you, and how did you get a prescription for Viagra if you're a young guy who mostly masturbates at this point in your life. The main cause of ED are mental issues.
Avatar f tn I am 24 healthy individual. I once took 300mg of viagra.. Will i get erectile dysfunction??
Avatar m tn Please do more web searches and DO NOT use Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. I also have RP and ED. I bought L-arginine/Orinithine but am wary about using until I read that it's ok. Blood flow changes seem to be very bad to already bad retinal cells.

Avatar m tn It gets there faster, but thus stops working more quickly. Viagra has a ton of possible side effects, and they will be potentially worse doing it this way. Since you're not a medical professional, your syringe might not be sterile, which can cause problems. If you're on other meds that might interact with Viagra, that will be enhanced.
Avatar m tn It has helped but it has not solved the problem. I went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for Viagra, 50 mg. My question is this: Is it safe to occasionally take Viagra if I also take L-Arginine? Are there are any potential contra indications in that Viagra should not be taken by a person who takes L-Arginine? If so, is the contraindication just for that day? In other words, would I be safe if I did not take L-Arginine on the day I took Viagra?
