I have had coronary heart disease now for 7 years. A stroke in 2004 left me with left side weakness due from a large blood clot. Then another stroke in 2008 from another blood clot that hit behind the left eye. I had angioplasty in 2003 for a 75% and 90% blockage but no stents. After the first stoke I was put on Coumadin and thin soon thereafter put on only two baby aspirin.

Carvedilol strengthens the heart muscle while viagra dilates the blood vessels to allow more blood to flow. The two drugs would work against one another. Im very confused because I was planning a home birth and my doctor that wants me on blood thinners is 80+ yrs old and tells me I need to be in a hospital to deliver at my apt last week and I was 35weeks. You need to get your INR and prothrombin time done if you are on blood thinners and need to adjust the dose of blood thinner accordingly. Get a stool test for occult or hidden blood to confirm that you have gut bleeding. You could also bleed into the lungs. Hence please consult a doctor immediately and find out if you are bleeding inside, and to rule out other causes of anemia like vitamin B12 deficiency. Take care!

Hospital reading first came back positive for Lupus Anticoagulant, then said it was a false positive. Protein C & S still testing low, but I do not know what that means exactly. Any reason one would just develope unexplained blood clots? Any relation of blood clots to the Graves?
