venlafaxine hcl antidepressants

I tested positive but I am allergic to Fluoxetine Hcl, Diphenhydramine Hcl, Doxycycline, Venlafaxine Hydrochloride, Fluoxetine, Azithromycin and Amoxicillin-Pot Clavulanate. What antibiotic can I take to treat this? Amoxicillin?

I hav taken Effexor Hcl 150 mg generic called Venlafaxine HCL ER Capsules 150mg, for years. A new doc wrote for the same medication in tablet form by mistake instead of the caps. Will it work the same for me?

The name is venlafaxine hcl 37.5 mg tablets, my doctor gave me a low does because i did not want any thing that strong, because i take enough pills that make me sleepy. Does any one know about these pills; if so pleases let me know if you ever taken them before .

unfortunately antidepressants can take a couple weeks to kick in. For me they started working quickly on some of my worst symptoms and other symptoms improved in time. Try to be patient and be positive that they will help you with each passing day. Try to keep yourself and your mind occupied and going about your normal daily activities and a little at a time you will find yourself getting back to normal. Take care.

Can I take 2 75mg tablets of Venlafaxine HCL (not ER) at night? What might be the problems with doing this? My prescription says 1 at night, 1 in morning. I had started this prescription 2-3 months ago and stopped because they made me very sleepy durng the day. I'm starting again and can already feel the 1 75mg pill taking effect (I had stopped any antidepressants for 3 months but now determined I had better start again). Thank You.

In general, the newer antidepressants (SSRI and SNRI) do not prolong QT interval so much. A possible exception is citalopram (and escitalopram). As far as I know, paroxetine and vortioxetine are fairly safe. How long is your QT interval?

t see the need to wean me off of it because he figured that the mood stabilizers would balance out any rapid cycling caused by the antidepressants (antidepressants, especially SNRIs like Effexor/Venlafaxine or Pristiq/Desvenlafaxine have a tendency to cause rapid cycling in Bipolar Disorder patients). Antidepressants that target serotonin often have this as a side effect. It's not usually as bad on the snri class, as they are intentionally stimulating, but we all react differently. It's more common with the ssris, but yeah, this is a side effect of the drug, assuming you haven't changed your eating patterns or exercise any.

Why do some antidepressants cause weight gain? What if you are eatting a 1500 calorie a day and burning the amount of calories to loose weight...do they still make you gain weight? Or is it because while on the medication you just eat more? What if you control your food intake do you still gain weight. I am on cymbalta and I am never hungry but it is giving me other bad side effects so I am afraid the doctor is going to change it and all the other options I have read about all say weight gain.

I not only had withdrawals but the new medicine caused my Fibromyalgia to flair up significantly. Within one month I went to my heart doctor begging for Nortriptyline (something I used previously for Fibromyalgia) they prescribed it and it helped 50% but still my anxiety was bad, and other symptoms were present.

Can anyone reccomend what to try next iv been on 2 ssri fluoxetine and sertraline with no help at all only making my anxiety and depression worse and the snri venlafaxine the same depression and anxiety worse was wondering if anybody has changed there venlafaxine and what to that has helped them currently on day 2 off being upped from 75mg after 3 week to 150mg that has made me worse and not feeling in control :o( any advice on where to go from here would be great full I see my doc tomorrow but

I am on epilim 800 mg, venlafaxine 150 and seroquel 50mg, I am doing quite well on this, although having a bit of a dip at the moment. He also got me onto some supplements and stressed the importance of exercise, although this too is hard when you lack motivation. But I found that the above has worked for me, the venlafaxine is the anti depressant.
