Business woman2 25, 37.5, 50, 75, and 100. Also, the extended release forms of Venlafaxine capsules come in many strengths too: 37.5, 75, and 150. Most of the tablet forms will contain Lactose and Gluten. Some of the extended release capsules do not contain neither Gluten nor Lactose. It will help me very much, if I know the dosage form and strength. We might be able to find you a supplier that do not use Lactose and Gluten in its Venlafaxine. Thanks and be well.
Avatar f tn Effexor (venlafaxine) is used to treat depression. Venlafaxine extended-release (long-acting) capsules are also used to treat generalized anxiety disorder (GAD; excessive worrying that is difficult to control), social anxiety disorder (extreme fear of interacting with others or performing in front of others that interferes with normal life), and panic disorder (sudden, unexpected attacks of extreme fear and worry about these attacks).
1378325 tn?1285346625 This is the cost for a 90 day supply of the extended release capsules, the non-extended release pills are $55 for 90 days compared to the $210 for the extended release. My cost for the brand Effexor was $130 for 90 days. I even talked to a supervisor at Express Scripts and she said it was because it isn't classified as a Tier drug, as in 1-2-or 3 yet.
Avatar m tn i'm posting a question asking for your medical advice as i've suffered from long term depression since i was 18 as i'm now 38 going through various medication regimes throughout that time. I've previously been on mostly SSRI's ie prozac and seroxat, with in addition dosuphin and amtitrypline. Prozac and seroxat worked well with me for some time until they "pooped out" on me.
1056851 tn?1318720978 Thanks ...it's weird i know it's extended release...but i can almost feel it kick in. 1270834 tn?1270769758 I panicked and was sure it was a worm of some sort. Thank goodness for the internet. My mind is at ease with the Extended Release Venlafaxine. I love the Internet.
725248 tn?1316162245 Have you tried the extended release formula for Dilaudid? A new extended release formulation (OROSĀ®) of Hydromorphone is available and I believe it is more afforable than the Fentanyl. Here is link about the medication... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2697506/ I wish you the best of luck. With today's economy we have to get what we can afford.
469210 tn?1219188128 But I will say Tramadol and Ultram (Tramadol extended release) have been the greatest things since sliced bread... I just started taking them about 2 weeks ago - and they totally work on me... To the point I'm working without any problems --- I'm out playing badminton... I'm fishing for trout --- and doing things I haven't been able to do for the past 2 years. I've even lost weight in 2 weeks!!! Woohooo --- couch potato reform school! I dunno about the combo part tho...
Avatar m tn Hi there, been going through various medication regimes now for the last 3 years after me depression 'insidiously' crept up on me to the extent that all the nicer part of me was gone and that was just getting by, carefully avoiding being 'out in the open' and retreating into myself.
Avatar f tn Has anyone tried the extended releExtended release Xanaxase Xanax? I know it has been on the market for a bit but I haven't heard any feedback.
1415174 tn?1453243103 Has anyone tried extended release Topamax or Topiramate? It is called Trokedi XR. I am going to try it because my memory is so bad on Topamax. My neurologist said it might be better with Trokedi XR but it is very expensive. So if you can tell me before I buy it I would appreciate any feedback.
Avatar n tn Hi kimmy. I had a hysterectomy 4 months ago and I understand what you are going through. I immediately start having hot flashes and night sweats and it was absolutly horrible. I spoke with my doctor and he put me on Venlafaxine HCL ER TSBS he said to make sure they don't give me the generic because if it is not the Venlafaxine HCL ER (extended release) it will make me sick ( throw up). I have been on it for two weeks now and it really works for me.
603543 tn?1255294450 Good Afternoon, It is worth noting that Wyeth Pharmaceuticals currently has a patent for Effexor XR. While there is a generic extended release version of venlafaxine available, it is not exactly the same as the brand name (Because of the patent). The headaches you are experiencing may be caused by some of the inert ingredients in the generic brand. Knowing this, I would take the samples back to your Dr. and continue using the brand name since you already know it works for you.
Avatar f tn Subsequently, the physician may continue decreasing the dose but at a more gradual rate. In clinical trials with venlafaxine hydrochloride extended-release capsules, tapering was achieved by reducing the daily dose by 75 mg at 1 week intervals. Individualization of tapering may be necessary.
Avatar f tn s basically just Venlafaxine with an extended release action. Much less expensive than name brand.
Avatar n tn lately, i cant brush my hair on the left side because it is so sensitive. Am i on the wrong meds? What do you think of the hydro 15mgs extended release verses the 7.5 mg of hydrocodone?
612551 tn?1450022175 I was recently prescribed 100 mg extended release beta blocker to increase my long time used 50 mg. Is it better to take 50 mg every 12 hours rather than 100 mg every 24 hours? If no, should I take 100 mg in morning or before bed?
632919 tn?1252774093 5mg every other day because the withdrawal was so bad. So now I am taking 25mg generic immediate-release venlafaxine for one week, then 12.5mg for one week, then stop. Since going to the 37.5mg Effexor XR I have been even more irritable than usual, and now I am EXTREMELY on the 25mg immediate-release.
Avatar f tn I had been taking Venlafaxine ER 150mg capsules (2 each am) for about 10 years. Recently, my dr. switched me to Venlafaxine 75 mg tablets (3 per day). Ever since, I have had hives and can't get rid of them. Recently went to dermatologist and after testing, found out I am allergic to cows milk and egg whites. I have eliminated both from my diet, but still have hives, with new breakout areas every day. I am beginning to suspect the cause of my hives is the Venlafaxine 75mg tablets.
