I am responding quickly to the Venlafaxine ER and have only had a few bumps throughout the day that required half of the 1mg Lorazepam. My problem is sleeping? I live in switzerland though so maybe it isn't available in the UK yet as this was only available to me at the beginning of 2009 when the patent was up. I had the same problems with both Effexor and Venlafaxine so my psychiatrist added Wellbutrin extended release and this eased the symptoms significantly as I was also feeling depressed and suicidal.

Hi, I get my prescriptions through Express Scripts and they recently contacted my doctor about a generic for Effexor ER called Venlafaxine. The problem is, I now take the extended release Effexor and the supposed generic for this med is $70 more than the brand name Effexor ER. How could a generic subsitute be more expensive than the brand name, just doesn't make any sense to me. If I chose to take the non-extended release generic Venlafaxine, it would be $80 cheaper than the Effexor ER.

She tells me that the lowest dose of XL is 75mg. She has put me on 37.5mg daily Venlafaxine. I tried this as 150mg dose, and it was not the same at all as Effexor. Is there any alternative. Another idea is to go on the diapers websites pampers huggies so on and sign up for coupons. Also if u plan on formula feeding u can get coupons for those too! I used gerber for my daughter and they would send me 5.00 off and so on and as she got older they sent coupons for baby food as well.
