t really stopped and my psychiatrist told me it might not go away, and that she wanted to change me to Venlafaxine. Honestly, my first reaction was OH NO, NOT AGAIN. Not another new medication. She told me diarrhea is keeping me from gaining weight and might damage my colon if it goes on. Now, I didn't think it was such a big deal and I was considering to just keep taking Sertraline until the diarrhea was gone, but this week I started having stomach pain.

Last year I had depression for which I was prescribed Sertraline, Amisulpride, Venlafaxine, and Clonazepam. Now all other drugs are stopped except Sertraline and Clonazepam. I am tapering clonazepam. Problem Throbbing in the right half of head and palpitations for which I am talking propanol 20mg TDS for last 2 months. Sometimes associated with sweating, hot flushes. There is no vomiting, though sometimes I get a headache. Palpitations are more at bed time or whenever I try to take rest.

About a month ago I went through a psychosis. I have been taking 10 mg of methadone for over 14 years (since I quit herion, I have been on it since '91) Since that crisis I have doubled my methadone and added clonazepam to the mix) 0.5 mg twice a day. Is there any way to keep this stable? I can't get off the methadone because I have been on it for years. Together with the 10 mg I take in the morning I also take 150 mg. of Venlafaxine.

Hey what kind of problems did you have taking the klonopin (clonazepam). I was just taking that stuff and I was mess on it. I stopped it today and already feeling 80% better.

t had any obvious side effects so I have stayed on it in hopes that I will find an addition drug/supplement that may work with the venlafaxine to reduce my fatigue and other POTS symptoms. I want to warn you, though, that getting on venlafaxine is not too hard, but getting off of it is very difficult. so where u on 4mg a day of ativan and now u swtiched to clonazepam? if so i think the taper/addition of klonopin/lclonazepam has to be done miticulously. ask RCA/Ryan about this. he as schedules for things like this and for tapering successfully. i know valium is used alot to get people off of clonazepam along with a taper schedule. i'm pretty sure the klonopin isn't causing the shakiness and sweating. it's either withdrawls from the ativan or your underlying anxiety returning.

I take Effexor with Clonazepam. I take 1 mg of clonazepam in the morning together with Effexor and my anxiety is stable all day long. I even went through a separation which would not be possible if i stayed on my previous meds such as celexa and paxil. You can take Clonazepam before zoloft why not? But if zoloft doesn't work ask your doctor about effexor. Just be carefull because effexor shouldn't be mixed with other antidepressants. Do it only under your doctors supervision.

I would talk with the doctor prescribing the Clonazepam before adding anything like this. If you're wanting to add more I assume it's because the Clonazepam isn't working, and if this is the case, you need to let your doctor know this. Don't mix anything like this, you have no way of knowing what will happen.
