Hi, i have a varicose vein in my left testicle. It is a bump with a little mini nodule on it. My doctor said it was ok and would go away over time, but i have had it for several months and its still there. Are there any things i can do at home to help it go away? like ice or something?
I have had large varicose veins pop up simultaneously in my right hand, left wrist, both feet (larger on the right foot). They are all painful. If I let a limb dangle, blood pools inside and I feel like the limb is dead almost. My skin constantly feels the veins tugging. What would cause varicose veins to destroy my life like this? They just keep popping up everywhere...
In my left testicle there is a bulge when standing. It feels like a swollen vas deferens though (tube like structure). Is that what a hernia feels like too? What kind of dr is appropriate to check I'm thinking a urologist?

About a year and a half ago (maybe more) i discovered a lump on my left testicle, then later on another one on my right. Whenni was finally able to make it to the doctors he diagnosed it as a varicocele. The odd thing about my condition is that it would see to come and go, and i also had lower abdominal pain, which the doctor suggested my be a hernia. i was referred to a urologist and he said yes i have a varicole and that he saw no sign of a hernia. i also told him about further symptoms (i.e.
Two years later and the testicle pain is -- finally -- nearly completely gone, with only mild recurrences now and then. I am left, though, with varicose veins on them and my penis! They showed up on my testicles probably two weeks after the surgery, when the swelling went down. In December 2009 a painful vien showed up on the top, left side of my penis. It soon spread all over, with it turning to throbbing pain in the head that lasted for several days.
Hi, I'm hoping for some help in figuring out what is causing the pain in my left testicle. I have seen a urologist, however he doesn't seem to be able to tell what is wrong and hasn't been able to diagnose the problem. By the way, I am 26 years old. The pain started about two months ago. It started to hurt while I was bowling with some friends.
About a year ago I first noticed a lump on my left testicle. This happened after I began running frequently. Eventually I developed lumps on both testicles after a couple of months. I've been to multiple Urologists and they tell me there is nothing they can see other than my epiditimis may be slightly swollen. It's beyond frustrating because I know my body and the changes that are occuring but no one can tell me what to do.
I copped a blow to lower abdomen many years back and i noticed my left testicle was all lumpy a few days later.. after freaking out a bit initially i learned it was a varicocele and not to worry unless it caused me any problems.. i noticed a few extra veins on my penis and bottom of scrotum after a while but nothing too bad.. however about 6 months ago i noticed these veins started getting worse.. the ones on my penis in particular..
I found this advice in a thread from 2009 and sounds similar to what you described. These swollen veins can be due to varicose veins or superficial thrombophlebitis. Penile varicose veins may bruise during sexual intercourse and thus wearing of a condom is highly recommended. Also use of lubricants is recommended during masturbation or during sexual intercourse to avoid bruising the vein. Mondor’s disease is superficial thrombophlebitis of the penis.
2 Years ago I was experiencing similar symptoms; left sided testicular pain and minor swelling. The testicle was high riding. I went to the ER, was exmamined w/ ultrasound and was diagnosed with epiditimytis. Subsequently, I went to a urologist 2 weeks later after the pain was still there but very very minor. The urologist, after examination, said everything felt normal. Now: I am again, 2 years later, experiencing similar left sided testicular pain/high riding.
These symptoms are chronic/persistent. However, periodically I get the same feeling on my left testicle/groin/lower back. When it happens on my left side, it doesn't last a very long time. But there is times when both testicles ache for almost a whole day. Occasionally, this discomfort/pain radiates down my right butt cheek or down into my thigh or the tendons right above my knee. When it radiates into these areas, it's only for a short period of time.
Its always been when I stand up long periods or I get a hot shower my balls hang low and hurt in my left testicle. My left testicle has been tender and sensitive to touch and I wont even let my girlfriends near it without telling them to be gentle, and its been that way for at least a few years. Anyway I'm going to go to my family doctor and see if he cant take a look and then refer me to a urologist or something.
As I was the only driver, I drove around 600 miles non stop that day. I came back and the next day(Monday)I felt my left testicle(where majority of varicose veins were treated) to be very tender and inflammed, also was painful especially while driving etc. Anyhow I thought the pain will subside so I continued with my regular activities. After 5 days the pain was almost less, but inflammation was there. I was scared for the varicocele to comeback to haunt me.

I had a lot of pain in/around my left testicle for some time after. The scrotum swelled up in the following days and varicose veins on the left side became very pronounced. The swelling has now gone but I seem to be getting pains around my left testicle when in the sitting position for long periods, i.e. long drives etc. After getting up and walking the pain goes away. The testicle seems slightly numb relative to right. This may be due to a hydracele that developed after the incident.
Hello, It can be due to Mondor’s disease or varicose veins. It is superficial thrombophlebitis of the penis. This is an inflammatory reaction to a clot within the vein. This subsequently causes blockages and dilation of the vein. It is typically painless, but can be painful. In studies, patients were noted to have thrombophlebitis after a prolonged sexual act with or without intercourse. It was described as cord-like thickening of the superficial penile veins.
I was originally Diagnosed with Pelvic Congestion after complaining for many years of Chronic pelvic pain, left sided flank pain, lower back, and lower limbs. My husband and I were also trying to conceive for 6 years and all the doctors could tell me was that I had a great looking uterus. I did, however have low ovarian reserve for someone my age. They finally listened to my pleas of pain in my pelvic and did a pelvic MRI on me only to discover I had Pelvic Congestion. I was dumbfounded.
I went and say a urologist and we had a ultra sound done and he said it was more blood pushing through it then normal, but nothing to worry about. Then I notice a month later a pea size bump on my right and left testicles, but inside the epididymis at the head. We had that check also with an ultra sound for cancer. Along with the bumps there is a hard vein in the spermatic cord that goes all the way into my abdomen.
I experience pain on my left groin area, left inguinal area and the pain radiates towards the left testicles. whenever i wear pants with belt i experience pain on all these areas. i have this pain all the time. it feels as if some ball has hit my left testicles. I have shown to lot of urologists in India as i m from india.they said the pain i m expriencing is not related to varicocele.Maybe due to Surgery theres been side effects on the nerves.
I am a US citisen currently living in a country with poor medical care - I have had a pain in my left testicle on and off for about two years - I thought it was originally from exercise without an athletic supported - but it has gotten worse - the pain is in my left testicle, toward the top near my pubic bone - it is painful to touch and wakes me when I am sleeping - the pain is always there, dull most of the time and then becomes sharp.
currently sailing on a vessel in europe. About a month back i started to have some pain in my left testicle . its a very mild dull ache , more of a constant pressure and would increase with activity. i went to see a GP in UK and after a physical check up , he told me all seemed fine. ruled out any hernia or testicular swelling or lumps. asked me to see a doc if the discomfort persists for a few months. the pain/discomfort is not in a particular area.
I have the same thing it's on my left leg just below the knee all the way down to the bottom of my shin. first time I noticed it I was driving and I thought the heater was blowing on it then I realized that it was just my leg getting warmer.
Then he prescribed flomax, which I am taking right now but it is not helping.
That was my first question my second is that mainly when I am standing will I feel my varicocele become prominent, but also I recently have discovered what seems to be the spermatic cord bunched up at the very bottom of my scrotum only on the left side below my testicle. This I have never discovered before and seems to have happened recently. But excuse my vulgarity but after I masturbate the spermatic cord doesn't seem to be bunched up anymore until I am standing for a good 15-20 minutes.
Now two weeks after the procedure most of the veins have reduced greatly in size but I continue to have a tangled varicose vein under my left testicle inside my scrotum and it is causing some mild discomfort. how soon can I expect these veins to disappear completely?
