I had serious varicose veins, mainly running down my ankles to my feet. There was a purplish sack of blood hanging from both of my inner ankles. I have a varicose vein on my leg (on back of my quad), I'm only 21 years old and it is slowly spreading slightly onto my calf muscle now. It is also beginning to ache.Would I be priority in having it removed or will doctors just leave it as it is?

If you have such a problem, it is better to be cautious about your diet and exercise. Such veins can cause venous pooling, slowing of blood and clot formation. Not really. I haven't noticed any weird colors except the blue varicose veins every so often. When it's cold outside or in the room, my feet are cold regardless of how many socks I put on. Heating pads and space heaters don't really satisfy the cold feeling, though they do help some. Infrared socks and silver socks have not worked for me and I know raynauds people supposedly have had some luck with them.
