How long is a urine specimen shelf life once collected for a cocaine test?

I would not take Valtrex everyday for the rest of your life unless you want liver damage/failure. I took Valtrex for a little over a year to suppress the herpes and it worked well...only problem it that it elevated my liver enzymes which is not a good thing. Doctor told me to stop taking Valtrex and only take it if I absolutely need it, ie wedding, meeting, ect.

Grace, I was diagnosed by a blood test and swabs, I have HSV2, my partner refuses to get tested because he says he doesnt have ****, wich is a lie because I was tested in Agust for STDs including Herpes and my test were neg. I have found that the synthetics only have a shelf of about 2-3 years, if that. But Armour has a shelf life of 17 years. Are the Raw thyroids sold on the internet a possibility for me also and are their shelf life as long? I take 120 mcg levothyroxine.

My husband and I both have an outbreak every time we have sex which is ruining our sex life. Long term effects of valtrex use is unknown outside of possible renal/liver imparement & I'm just not sure if I should continue taking it. Anyone else have similar experience or advice? Thanks!

Thanks. I have started daily Valtrex to reduce the risk of transmission to him. After much discussion, he has agreed, reluctantly, to find out his status. If he's positive for HSV 2, I'll discontinue the med. If he's negative I will keep taking it. I got your book recently and will I'm sure get a lot of information (and much needed strategies for getting my head around this) from the book. Two final questions for you: 1.

A month in he got what the doctors thought could be shingles and gave him a script for Valtrex. For the past 3 months his penis has been very sensitive and he couldnt last more then a few minutes during sex. After he added the Valtrex to the mix he cant even last a few minutes at all! What is the procedure for getting a Valtrex prescription?? Every time I go to this doctor I go to, he writes me a prescription for 3 months. And when the refills are up calling in to ask for more is not an option. They actually want you to come into the office. I don't have time to keep doing this. And I really don't see the point!?!? What needs to be looked at? Nothing is going to change!

Ok if i took Valtrex once a day how many millagrams? If I take a medication every day of my life would the virus just get use to it and the suppressive theropy not be as effective??

The blister packs are to optimize the freshness, as the shelf life has been purposely reduced by half. That is also why you are required to refrigerate the blister packs. Sunythetic T4 hormones in the US have not changed their shelf life, so the blister packs and refrigeration are not as much of an issue. And yes, If I could get those US manufactured pharmaceuticals cheaper by getting them from Mexico or Canada (who buy them from US companies at a reduced rate), I would be doing it.

As far as I know the syringe itself will not expire, but the rubber stopper on the syringe plunger may have a shelf life. If you have a bunch of syringes that are due to expire, I would recommend speaking with the manufacturer, they may be able to give you some insight on why the syringe has an expiration date. How good does valtrex work in suppressing HSV 1 I started taking 1000 mg a day?

I have not had any outbreaks at all, I occasionally have burning and itching, but beyond that nothing else. I have been on supressive therapy w/ Valtrex since the end of may. I have had pain on lower right abdomen, under my ribcage it feels, and pain on my right lower back. Is this a symptom of Herpes, or can this be a reaction to the Valtrex?

I have been on valtrex for the past 4 months (1 a day) if the symptoms I am having have not gone away for a period of 2 years ( symptoms are there for a week then subside for 2 - 3 days then come back ) this has been like clockwork for the past 2 years.
