More to update: I had a second blood test done, Herpes Select again. Again the numbers are negative. (Anything above 0.9 is considered positive.) HSV I - 0.75 HSV II - 0.0 So after three rounds a negative testing, the most recent one being 6 weeks after the "outbreak", can I assume its negative? Or because the levels of Type I have risen, but not to a positive level, is it likely that its type 1 and still rising? Should I get another blood test in a couple of months?
I went to my GP complaning of no sense of smell, saw a surgeon and surgery was recomended, I was given a prescription for Prednisone, a steroid, this gave me some sense of smell, and here's the but, I had the operation and still could not smell, so more Prednisone, well the upshot is that the steroids have caused my Osteo-Necrosis, this is when the heads of the long bones die, so have now had core decompression on one hip and the other totally replaced. Oxycontin.
My new Doctor put me on Valtrex to fight a Virus infection. I have started to feel less burning and pain. I'll be taking it for a month and then I will let you know how I feel. Thanks for your support.
First, I will feel a bit dizzy and nauseas, then I will have to run to the bathroom because the diarrhea hits me and I feel like while I'm going to the bathroom I will pass out, then the nausea and dizziness with cold chillls and then I am hot so I have to take the sweater off that I put on because I was cold. I am 30 years old and I have a mild case of lupus that has been under control with plaquinil over the past ten years.
I have had MRI's done of the Cervical spine(neck region) and Lumbar spine (lower back) I have a lg hernated disc in my neck and degenetive disc disease with an annular tear in my lower back. I am going to also request my doctors to do an MRI of Thoracic spine (middle back) because they haven't done an MRI of that section yet. I am not sure if the mid back problems is caused by these issues I know I have. I would suggest you dig into the problem more.
here i go....so for the last 6 months i have had itchy eyelids...my eye doctor told me it was due to mild allergies and prescribed eye drops which didnt help in the least so i turned to over the counter allergy medicine which hasn't helped either (so i dont think it's allergies) and in the last 3 weeks not only are my eyelids itchy but when i wake up in the morning my upper eye lids are bright red and swelled up so bad that its embarassing!!!!
I am a 27 year old male. I had unprotected sex with a female around the beginning of June and shortly after I noticed a mild burning sensation when I ejaculated. I knew this was likely to be some kind of STD as a result, (I had been diagnosed and treated for non-specific urethritus 2 years earlier) so proceeding to get an appointment with my GP. He prescribed a 10 day course of Doxycycline 100mg capsules which I took as prescribed. I returned to the doctors as my symptoms persisted.
Unfortunately, that did not last. I started having the same signs again, and when I tested it was positive again. And ever since I can't get it to be negative again, meaning the candida if that is what I have has become resistant to the supplements that I was using. As I started a new treatment, I will take the test this week-end to see if there is any progress.
