Have you used Valsartan for treatment of hypertension patients in high risk patients? Are you aware about the combination Valsartan and Amlodipine to treat hypertension in high risk patients? How its is better than Telmisarton and Amlodipine combination?

-( 3 days on valsartan and I was having horrible side effects of dizziness, rapid heart rate, general feeling of crappiness, even slight shortness of breath with the slightest exertion None of which I experienced with the benazepril. Called the dr, he told me to stop the valsartan, don't take anything for 2 days and then back on the benazepril and see him next week.

Hi, there is no such information which conclusively states that valsartan may cause cellulitis or increase its intensity or duration. Have you taken valsartan and also have a concurrent skin infection? If yes, have you talked to your doctor about it and taken any medication for it? My new VA doctor wants to change one of my blood pressure medications from 160 mg of Valsartan 2 times per day to an equivalent dose of 100 mg of Losartan but only once per day. My blood pressure has been controlled for years with typical readings around 118/70 using the Valsartan, Amlodipine 5mg, and a diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide 25mg). I have not made the change yet. 1. Why should I agree to experiment with reducing my primary blood pressure medication and what are the risks?

I am so confused because I have too many issues that can cause the same symptoms. Recently, my doctor switched me from Valsartan HCTZ to Hydrochlorothiazide plus regular Valsartan for my blood pressure. When I first started it, right away I was having rapid heart beat and shortness of breath so he told me take potassium supplements. That did help but now I am wondering if I am taking too much potassium.

I've taken Valsartan since 2010 successfully. It controls my BP well.

I am 53 and managed to NOT take any drugs dues to drug allergies in regards to the Elhers Danlos syndrome Type 3 hypermobility. What are the odds of the heart rupturing at my age if one doesn't take these drugs? Can a person stay on the lower side of the dose 25 - 50 mg's and still have them work in the prevention catagory? Any one out there taking either of these drugs for Elhers Danlos?

I want to know whether it needs to be performed immediately or there is any other alternative to CABG for this patient.He is now normal and doctors have prescribed him valsartan,atorvastatin,clopidogrel and aspirin capsules.

Could this be the problem of my high blood pressure. Recently I was put on Valsartan HCT and I feel awful. Tired spaced cold...

All 3 meds mentioned are class C drugs, which means none have been tested on pregnant women, but have shown to cause defomities or problems in laboratory animals. I would strongly think twice about getting pregnant while being on all of these meds. Ask yourself if the benefits out weigh the risks.

He is behind his peers. He is also the youngest in his class. Prior teachers have mentioned his short attention span. He has no behavior problems. I have spent 3 entire days researching so I am fully prepared for his doctor appointment next week. I want to rule out any other causes for his attention. ve read a report that anitdepressant like SSRI class (similar to lexapro) caused aortic valve problems in newborns. Does anyone know whether antidepressant can cause/increase AO dilation (however mild it may be)? I'm thinking off coming off this drug in 2 months time 5) I'm really confused and worried as to what i should do 6) Also, what are the possible causes of AO dilation so that i can rule out this one by one and find out possible narrowed causes?

I am taking 7.5 mg Cardicor (Bisopropolol) and Co Diovan (Valsartan) and diuretic 80/120 plus being taken off Warfarin and put on low dose aspirin.
