Common Questions and Answers about Vaginal tearing

vagina

Avatar f tn So everytime I have sex with my boyfriend I am getting vaginal tearing. And why is that, and what should I do?
Avatar f tn It seems like I would be the perfect person to have a third or forth degree tear from vaginal delivery. Doctors still want me to do vaginal birth though. What are all your thoughts? Even if I tear that badly, is it still better than doing a c section and why?
Avatar f tn Dumb question... Is there a way to "condition" your vagina to reduce the chance of vaginal tearing? I'm having a home birth so I'm not planning on being sliced for an episiotomy? Spelling? But I also haven't discussed this issue with my midwife yet. So my question... Can having sex more or having my husband stretch it out more with his fingers help? Fingers might be a bad idea actually... But I mean should I just be doing more kegals? Sorry, I know it's dumb...
Avatar f tn So I know if you massage your perineum while pregnant, it prevents tearing but I was also wondering if sex helped too? By sort of stretching out your vagina some.
Avatar f tn Really? That's interesting, I didn't know that you could lose your virginity still even if you did not bleed the first time.. Though I don't understand why I'm still 'bleeding' or why there's still blood? I've been cleaning it up for about three days now and whenever I check, there's still blood, so that's why I wonder if it's tearing or something else. It's just that I read about tearing and I don't feel cuts or any pain.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else experienced vaginal tearing/severe irritation during intercourse? If so, do you think it could have developed due to the recurrent usage of spermicidal products? Please leave your feedback. Background: I started out using spermicidal condoms when first having intercourse, I had pain free intercourse for about 3 weeks, but then it progressively became more and more irritated around the vaginal entrance area which is actually known for its poor healing properties.
Avatar f tn Ok so I'm kind of nervous about this, but my boyfriend and I for about 6 months now just recently had sex for the first time. I am not a virgin, but he is MUCH larger than my last partner, being that I only had one partner before him it was a shock.
Avatar f tn This is my second child, but my first was a c section. Im highly considering vbac and im freaking out about that and tearing.
Avatar f tn s been about 3weeks since I had sex and last night, I tried to have sex with my bf but when he tried to enter it felt like I was tearing! So he stopped and we fore-played a bit longer to get me wetter but it still felt like I was tesring, even when he fingered me, when he touched a certain spot. It hurt at the bottom of the vaginal entrance. What should I do? What does it mean? Please help!
Avatar f tn My boyfriend and I had rough sex about 3 months back, and I had pain and inflammation afterwards. I'm also assuming a vaginal tear since I had a painful cut as well. Since then I've healed (assuming, no pain) and have noticed that when I urinate, I no longer have much control over it. It sort of just dribbles out. I can hold it, but when I urinate there's just no power with it if that makes sense. Could my vaginal tear not be healed, or healed properly?
Avatar f tn I nvr did anything and never tore with any of my kids. Both vaginal, and im a small woman. 5'0 115 lbs. My son was 8 lbs.
Avatar f tn I waited the full 6 weeks but the dr.
Avatar m tn i tell you the some as gymdandee said And also that may she is got tearing from inside that why she is bleeding .
Avatar f tn Does anyone know if you have less of a risk of tearing your second time? I had to get one stitch on the inside with my first, and have now become very paranoid of tearing or having to have an episiotomy! My son was born 8lb 9oz 4 years ago.
Avatar f tn You should always use condoms and lubricant for anal sex. While ejaculating doesn't matter from a disease standpoint, it is easier to spread STDs through anal sex than through vaginal sex, and as AnnieBrooke said, you get micro-tearing. If you don't use enough lube, you could get bigger tearing, which would hurt. It's also much easier cleanup if you use a condom.
Avatar f tn Hi! I had my first baby on January 1st ( yay new years baby!) and I had a vaginal delivery he was 7 1/2 lbs. Today I happen to notice well going to the bathroom when I wiped I saw extra skin coming out of my vagina!! I'm freaking out it looks so strange! Is this normal? Or should I be calling my doctor on Monday to get this checked out? Or should i just go to emerge? Or am I worried for no reason? Has anyone experienced this and will I ever look the same down there?
