Common Questions and Answers about Vaginal pain discharge

vagina

Avatar f tn When I was the hospital for abscesses they told me that the extra discharge was from my body fighting off an infection. I had somewhat similar discharge a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't last so I pinned it on ovulation/my cycle. There is no pain/burning/itching without touching/stimulating. There is also no change in the appearance of my vagina, aka, bumps, sores, whatever.
Avatar f tn Dear zina123, Well, the information you gave is scanty so it is tough to give you a reasonable answer. Do you have any vaginal discharge? Does the pain seem to go deeper into you perineal area on one side or the other? Do you have any low-back pain with it? How long has it existed? Does it hurt more when you manipulate the labia? Does anything make it hurt more or make it better, that you know of ?

Avatar f tn These past two days I've had a white vaginal discharge. No pain at all or anything. It doesn't really scare me because I'm not feeling uncomfortable in any way, I was just wondering if that's something I should discuss with my doctor at my next appointment. I'm 17 weeks pregnant.
Avatar f tn Hello, You may be having a yeast infection or vaginal candidiasis, which typically causes swelling, redness, and itchiness of the vaginal area. It also causes a curd-like vaginal discharge. There may also be skin involvement wherein the skin around the vaginal area also becomes infected and become red and have rashes. Try to avoid wearing tight underwear and pants. Wear cotton underwear as much as possible and maintain proper hygiene.

Avatar f tn Ive been having thick white vaginal discharge for almost a year. It does not come out of my underwear but just clings to the walls of my vagina and I can scroop it out. I have had abbraisons appear on the exterior of my vagina and big red spots on my exterior that lasted for a month and then went away. What could this be?
Avatar n tn com/health/orange-discharge Orange discharge is very often going to be linked to some sort of vaginal infection. According to the chart in this article, https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/322232#what-is-vaginal-discharge, it states that it is related to cervicle bleeding or vaginal irritation. But I don't know. I would have sent you to a gyno but that's one of the docs you've seen. So yes, go to a urologist. I hope you come back and let us know what is going on!
Avatar n tn I have been having a daily, glue-like, yellow, odourless discharge for more than a year. There is no pain or itch with it, but it is very uncomfortable as it sticks to my skin and hair. I wear panty pads and they get stuck to my body with the discharge. I mentioned it to the doctor last year and she gave me a blank look as if she had never heard of this sort of discharge before. I haven't been back since. I am 65 and went through the menopause in my early 50s.
Avatar n tn Okay well sometimes i have this pain by my vagina area and its more of like a sharp pain its not like a cramp from my period its more lower and i have no idea what it could be then my second thing is i have vaginal odor and discharge at times but i take showers all the time and clean very well so whats the problem??
Avatar m tn An ultrasound via vaginal route or a uteroscope inserted via vaginal route to look at the condition of the cervix, uterus etc, a PAP smear, a vaginal swab test, a culture of the vaginal discharge, a complete STD panel are probably what are required. It could also be an allergic reaction to soaps, cosmetics, douches, razor etc that you use. Hence eliminate them one by one and see if it helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor/ gynecologist.
Avatar f tn During the last year I have been presenting a constant vaginal itching, discomfort and pain. Sometimes the pain feels like there is needles or acid all over the vaginal area. I can't describe how painful it is. STD testing as well as biopsy have been performed and all the results are normal. NO STD's. I get very profuse abdominal pain especially on the left side of my abdomen and sometimes I get nausea. i have some better days than other but when is bad I can't hardly go to work.
