I am 17 and have had 2 sexual partners. I have white discharge and odor, but i've experienced this since before I was sexually active. Actually i've had it for as long as I can remember. Then first time I had sex I was afraid my boyfriend at the time would think I was gross. I have a habit of "tucking" my underwear. I usually wear thongs could that have something to do with it?
treated, but for some reason discharge is present and n ow with odor. I've ruled out the cause of sexual activities. What exactly may be the cause for that.
coz i've had that before and was given a vaginal suppository for it, the fishy odor and the rotten smell of the discharge immediately went away after the suppository... you maybe had some douches used that's why the pH level on your vagina was affected that caused the infection, coz that's what caused mine...and bacterial vaginosis often occurs on women after giving birth...so you better have yourself diagnosed and treated ok...goodluck and god bless...
Hello, The bad smell can be due to bacterial vaginosis. In addition to unpleasant "fishy" vaginal odor, thin white or yellowish discharge from vagina may also be present. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. Treatment is by metronidazole and clindamycin. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

HI, Vaginal odour and discharge can be an indication of infection. It may also be noted that semen has a fishy odour. Hence keeping the area clean and dry is essential. You can also use antiseptic vaginal pessaries. If they do not give any relief then it would be best to consult your Doctor for an examination. Vaginal swab test and Pap smear may be necessary to make a diagnosis. The answer is based on information provided.
A couple months ago, I began noticing an unpleasant vaginal odor and i had abnormal discharge. I saw a gynecologist as soon as possible and was treated for a yeast infection and it was recommended for me to start taking probiotics, so I started taking Flora pills for vaginal health. The infection seemed to go away but maybe a month ago it started coming back (I hadn't taken the probiotics for a while).
I have noticed that after having sex with my husband when he has taken cialis I have a stong unpleasant vaginal odor, is it possible the drug is transferred to me via his ejaculate and I am having a negative reaction.
I am 16 years old, and i've started to have a pretty strong vaginal odor. It started about five to seven months ago, and i usually have a little bit of milky white discharge that smells sour. I bathe everyday, but after an hour or two the smell is back. The discharge dries a yellowish color on my underwear, and the smell seeps into my clothing so i feel uncomfortable doing some normal activities. It doesn't itch, and it's progressively gotten worse.

Diabetes too can increase the chances of vaginal infections and foul smelling discharge. A fishy odor that is felt most after sex or washing with soap goes in favor of bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is usually caused by Gardnerella vaginalis bacteria or a combination of bacteria. A decrease in the good bacterial flora (lactobacillus) and an increase in infection causing bacterial is the cause. It is not clear how the infection comes.

I have noticed a bad odor lately.. Could this be caused by vaginal dryness? I am 57 & obviously post menopausal. What could be the cause and how can I treat it?
The thing is that when I had it the first time the odor also came along with itching and discharge. This time I only have an odor. I know this odor is not normal but I'm not experiencing itching. I do however have a slight white, odorless discharge but Ive always had that. In the past month I have been sexually active with two different guys. I only had sex with each of them once.
Hello, These symptoms can be due to bacterial vaginosis or TD’s if you are sexually active. In addition to unpleasant "fishy" vaginal odor, thin white or yellowish discharge from vagina may also be present. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. Treatment is by metronidazole and clindamycin.
it sounds like you have chlamidia the odor and color either that or a bacteria infection. Does it ithch wash with mild soap and go to your local planned parent hood they give free std tests and could also tell you what you have.
If you only experienced this odor once, and it has resolved, then I would not worry too much about it. If the odor returns or if you notice unusual discharge or pain when you are having sex, then you should see your ob/gyn to rule out any kind of vaginal infection. Good luck.
I have had a strong and foul odor from my vagina for about a month now. There is no discharge or discomfort. It is very embarrassing. I have only had 2 sexual partners within the last year. One I know is clean. The other looked fine but I know that means nothing and we did not use a condum. I have been taking alot of vitamin supplements lately. Namely Vitamin B (which is very similar to the odor), a multi-vitamin, calcium, lactobacillius acidophilus, Sam-E, and vitamin C.
Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. I noticed for about 3 months I have had a vaginal odor. I use feminine powder and spray, but sometimes I still have the odor. It isn't very strong and I am a very clean person. I am 52 yrs old and have had a partial hysterectomy. I still have my ovaries. My last blood work revealed that I hadn't started menopause yet, but that was over a year ago and I wonder if I have started. I am also dry and have never had that before. (Isn't it wonderful being a woman).
I recently have had sex with my boyfriend of three months and have experienced a strong odor on one occasion which was very strong and fishy smelling like. Since that one particular incident i have not had a problem. Does this come and go on its own. I do not douche either. Should I. I am 49 years old and have sex everyday and bathe regularly.
I'm 18 years old and I've been dealing with vaginal odor for quite some time now; ever since i was real young. I never told anyone about it because its just embarrassing. Everyday, all day, my vagina smells just terrible; like armpit/fish/rotten type thing. Whenever I touch my vagina in the shower, some white stuff gets on my finger; its looks like little tiny flakes but a creamy type.I'm always yet down there too.. I think its sweat but i dont know. I discharge a lot too.
