Avatar f tn I'm not surprised the vinegar douche aggravated your vaginal irritation. It's very acidic and would have only irritated the already inflamed area even more. It's unwise to douche at the best of times but this is even more important if you have any kind of discomfort and irritation. It's not uncommon for women to get thrush whilst taking antibiotics as the medication has the effect of also killing of the good bacteria in the vagina that keeps it healthy.
Avatar f tn Hi, I've had irritation in my vaginal lips for a period 3 days. The skin is also pealing white. I'm also experiencing a burning and itching sensation. It also burns when I pee and I believe I tore a little skin, so there's a little bleeding. However, my discharge seems normal. I had been put on antibiotics as I've had bronchitis for the last couple of weeks. The drugs are clarithromycin and this is my first time taking this kind of antibiotics.
Avatar n tn Hm. I am in a similar boat. I started taking the drug about two weeks ago too and now have vaginal burning and discharge.
Avatar f tn Hello - I've been experiencing ongoing painful itching and irritation in both my vaginal and anal area for nearly 2 months. I've been tested for everything under the sun (STDs, yeast, bacteria) and everything comes back clean. I've been put on steroid creams, used diaper rash cream and countless other remedies and have no relief. I'm at my wit's end. I have no irregular discharge. The areas are just very irritated.
Avatar n tn wait it out it could just be friction irritation from intercourse but if it persists see your dr.
Avatar f tn For the past few months i have been having various types of irritation around my vaginal area. at times it has been red, hot, swollen, tender and very painful to touch. i have also had a rash down there from time to time which i thought was razor burn. all of this would come and go and just recently i have been getting little almost like paper cuts on my labia and around my vagina.
Avatar f tn I have had external vaginal irritation for a couple of years now. I was tested for infections and do not have any. My OB/GYN suggested I start using a douche to clear out any excess discharge. He said since I'm 36, sometimes we produce more dishcharge as we age and maybe that is causing the irritation. He also suggested "freezing" my cervix but that sounds scary to me! He sent me away with Nystatin and Triamcinolone cream, which is how I survive the irritation.
Avatar m tn Hi; I'm on my third month of Yasmin, which I mainly started for acne control. On the whole it's been pretty great. I have no mood swings, emotionally I've been stable and my acne is pretty much normalizing. Since starting Yasmin however, I've experienced two occurrences of vaginal irritation. Each occurrence has lasted 1-2 weeks, during which time I was extremely itchy, irritated and sensitive. Has anyone else experienced this?
Avatar n tn i was having foul play with my boyfriend for the first time and a week after i started my period and during that time i started having vaginal irritations its been 2 weeks now and its still itchy.
Avatar n tn m 9 wks and experiencing heavier than normal vag discharge with mild irritation and inflammation. Is this a cause of concern? I plan to take a lot of yogurt and avoid yeast feeding diet to control it. What else can I do? Is kefir milk OK to take during pregnancy? This is my first and everything freaks me out...pl advise.

Avatar f tn I have been diagnosed with a minor vaginal prolapse.Surgery isn`t necessary at this time.I am post menopausal(62) and have used creams topically to ease the itching and irritation due to estrogen loss because of my age.A bubble or blister appeared on the exposed part of my vagina about 2 weeks ago.It has now grown to a red raw patch about the size of a dime.I am sure that it started because of irritation(scratching),not infection.
Avatar f tn I'm have concerns I've been having a discharge that has a very slight light green tint to it. There's no burning no discomfort in peeing. And I seem to be experiencing vaginal dryness. Or I had thought that was what the problem was instead of a yeast infection. So when I was applying lubricant to ease the irritation I found I guess is a cyst. It's not painful but it is causing some irritation.
Avatar n tn HMMMM...haven't heard of this one. I hope someone will respond that can give some insight.
Avatar m tn Three months ago, I had unprotected vaginal and oral sex with my girlfriend. She told me that she had no std's and that she had only had sex with one other person besides me. After we broke up, two weeks later I had vaginal and oral sex with another girl but this time I wore a condom during vaginal sex. This girl also said that she has not std's. It has been one week since we had sex but over the past few days, I've been having this strange penis discomfort that comes and goes.
