i was told at my last apt that i had a vaginal infection and was given a antibiotic cream to clear it up. i took it for the 5 days as instructed but i'm still having the same discharge and pain as b4. i have another apt tomorrow to be rechecked but i'm nervous about taking more antibiotics. has anyone had this problem b4?

During the last year I have been presenting a constant vaginal itching, discomfort and pain. Sometimes the pain feels like there is needles or acid all over the vaginal area. I can't describe how painful it is. STD testing as well as biopsy have been performed and all the results are normal. NO STD's. I get very profuse abdominal pain especially on the left side of my abdomen and sometimes I get nausea. i have some better days than other but when is bad I can't hardly go to work.

hello again, 39 weeks pregnant and have just been told i have a vaginal infection and i'm in so much pain right now and feel very poorly i have been put on antibiotics for 5 days and hope it will clear it up as i seem to think iv had it for about 3 weeks and midwife kept telling me my wee sample was fine, babys engaged 2/5 so hopefully it wont be to long before he arrives.

i went to the doctor, and he said it could be a urinary infection or a yeast infection. it was strange that he didn´t even talk about stds. he sent me some antibiotics which have to insert vaginally, and they really burn... he did a swab test and a urinary test, and today they gave me the results - both came back negative. so now i´m really really confused. i´m traveling, and finding it very hard to get to a good gynecologist...

Being treated with metronidazole should have cleared a BV or Trichomonas infection but it didnt work.. The reason i posted here is i was thinking it must be gonnorhea or clamydia (despite negative testing) - basically the only thing i havent been treated for? But i have been tested 3 times now..

Ive had symptoms of a UTI/Yeast Infection for about a week now, but theyre getting progressively worse. The pain started as a slight pressure and pain after i finished urinating, but is now a constant, throbbing pain. I have also noticed slight discoloration (my vagina seems purple/red, almost inflamed)as well as a visible blue vein that is not normally present (this is extremely unnerving) and I believe my vagina is somewhat swollen. Hello Doctor, I had yeast infection vaginal. I was treated with candid V6 tablets. for 1st three days, the dissolved tablets are seen in the discharge. Then it got developed to pink and later dark pink.

She said that there was no pain and that it was new to her. Could this be a yeast infection ? If not, what else ? I reciently found out that she had cheated on me, could that make a difference and if so do I need to worry ? Thanks in advance.

u r a godess for me.i was worried because ther was a pain in the cuticle as i mentioned. my worrry was the vaginal fluid must have come in contact with the cuticle that was cut although it wasnt bleeding.

For the last 14 months I've been dealing with a vaginal infection of some kind. I've been told it was BV, yeast, cervicitis. However, every test that has ever be done, STD testing by blood, cultures for gonorrhea and chlamydia, yeast cultures, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, endocervical cultures, all from my vaginal discharge, come up empty. No growth at all. My urine has also been sent out, same result, nothing. I have a lot of WBC but that is it.
