The next morning I went for a shower and realised there was a small amount of blood (sent bled since) and I saw I had a tear in the opening of my vagina. There is no pain in general or when I urinate, it's just a little uncomfortable. Where it had actually torn there is a white layer, is this the tear healing itself or is it a sign of infection? Also the tear is 1-2 cm long, is that average?
How long can it take a tear in the vagina to heal from rough sex? I get lubrication was the issue. I took a mirror to it to make sure it was just a tear... And as I suspected after separating my lady bits so I could actually see... I saw a pretty good-sized slice and a couple smaller slices on the inner side of the lip and the bigger cut is more on the inside but I can see it clear as day...
I'm sure I had a tear ...my doctor commented that it was small one as she was sewing it up....
I literallyjust saw a birthing video and doctors cut out the bottom part of the vagina to make sure the babys head can come out easier.. I was wondering if its just in the countries that they perform those procedures or if in america they do that as well?
It bleeded heavily that I lost my blood and fell down got severe and admitted in the hospital and the doctor said need to operate and had my vaginal tear repaired and she said it was a 2-inch tear seen in posterior wall of vagina edges. small para urethral tear also repaired. This was 7 months ago after my marriage (in India). After that we didnt have sex for one month or so.
maybe you've jus cut/grazed it a little. i have a cut that jus wont heal and same problem!
Just noticed a one inch long papercut-like tear on one of the folds of my
vagina near the opening. No discharge or redness (other than from me pulling at it to
get a better look), no itching or burning...other than a very very brief sting
when the urine passed over it. I discovered it when I wiped and the toilet
paper had a very very very tiny spot of blood on it. Other than that I probably
wouldn't have even noticed it. Although the skin does kind of seem a bit dry.
That's really really great that You didn't tear or need stitches!!!!! And yes your vagina will go back to normal...I don't know how long that would take though because I'm a first time mom and I'm not due until October....but most of my friends have babies and they told me it does go back to normal...
Two days ago I hooked up with one if my friends when I was drinking. He used a condom, and I remember having a really strong pain and making him stop. I woke up and went pee and noticed it burned really bad. I looked with a mirror and saw a "tear-looking" cut at the far end of my outer vagina. I'm guessing that I and the condom were just dry and it tore me, but I'm not exactly sure. I was reading a forum and someone mentioned herpes..
It depends because you can tear any where on the vagina some tearing don't require stitches either they'll let it heal on its own
I recently got a tender part my perineum that skin between the vagina an anus. It didn't worry me but I jumped on my boyfriend and he was holding me up and grabbed my *** as a joke and I felt it pull it really hurt.
I later went to the bathroom and I was bleeding so I had a look and I have a small tear not deep but still painful

Yes it is true, but not every woman gets cut. Look up episiotomy. That's the medical term for cutting part of the vagina to aid in delivery of your baby. If you don't want one then tell your doctor that you don't want one.

I have a tear on the top of the Vagina opening that is almost 1cm length wise. It doesn't hurt at all when moving around or such, very little discomfort (I rarely noticed/feel it), I know it hurts very little if I pee, and contact it with toilet paper(occasionally). I got this tear from sex, I know its from lack of lub (and because my boyfriend is big), the tear is concerning me on how it'll heal since its clearly a tear that I possible find it impossible to fully close by itself.
ve only been together twice. the first time was fine the second time i got a tear on my outer vagina. it hurt like crazy but i've experienced a tear before. this time, a couple days later, i noticed a foul smell and soon after a nasty white/yellow discharge. it burns like hell when i pee because of the cuts. i don't know how i could've gotten anything from him because we clearly used a condom both times. i asked a friend and googled it as well and it says to use desitin for the cuts.

These latter pulmonary S/S could easily result in shortness of breath.
