You can try the home remedy first. Drink a teaspoon of baking soda in 8oz of water. Once this morning and once tonight. Also drink cranberry juice. The baking soda should kill the infection and the cranberry juice should help the pain. Up your water intake as well over the next couple days. The baking soda is high in sodium so you'll have to flush that. It cured the uti I had last summer.

It may be another kind of infection. Bv or uti. You need to be swabbed! Its not good to not treat an infection especially while pregnant. Have you seen your Dr for this?

m trying to get some more opinions. Could this be a really bad UTI and infection combination because of the extra bacteria? What also concerned me was that my first doctor claims she has never seen this before...and isn't herpes rather common? I would think that she would be able to spot it right off. My understanding is that ANY blood in the urine visible or microscopic should be referred to a urologist.
