I also eat food that is high in potassium and take a med that helps the potassium from being leached from my body from taking lasix, so I don't know why the "No Salt" is an issue. What I use that really adds a lot of flavor - and I used it for many years is a spice -called "Spike". It goes great on everything. You can get it with or without salt. My husband is eating his food the same way I season mine now and he really likes it.

Excessive use of ephedrine strains the cardiovascular system & increases the risk of stroke & heart attack. As you are already at higher risk due to your smoking habit, this is probably the biggest exposure you are facing. I'm sure you know that you would be much better off without either habit. You will find great support here if you do plan to quit.

They use the same thing in IV's in low doses to keep people hydrated in the hospital. Too much of anything can be bad. If you take the time to read the ingredients on ANY Ms. Dash flavors, you'll find nothing but herbs and spices, there's absolutely NO potassium chloride in it.

Avatar m tn When I stretch the neck up, arrhythmia dissapears even before infusion of potassium chloride. What could be here a problem? How can I heal that problem. Additinally, I got the hypothyroidism (Hashimoto syndrome). I take the thyroxine to keep the TSH hormone stable. Free thyroxine level in blood is also normal. Usually I feel discomfort in the middle of the spine. After X ray tests of complete spine cord, doctors found nothing pathological.
