Urine test thc levels

Common Questions and Answers about Urine test thc levels

urine-test

Yes... the reason why your THC levels are spiking is because THC is very fat soluble. It is probably one of the most fat soluble drugs... hence it's called a little of that sicky icky icky. Since you say you are slightly overweight and started exercising after you quit smoking... it's all being released into your blood stream. You can just tell them the situation... that you burning off that fat to clean out the thc, and that it might take a few more weeks until more fat is burned off.
You can clear it from your urine but if a dr were to do a blood test that will show positive for a bit but not sure for how long since everyone is different. It really depends on how fast your body metabolizes the drug out of your system. Good luck.
I am about 5'9 175lbs, I am still testing positive in my urine for THC. How much longer do I have till I finally test negative? Also, will I test Negative if I had a BLOOD test done? What is the difference? Please help!
They switched me to a PA because they were swamped, it had nothing to do with my urine test (which I was scared to death about). The urine tests he takes, he tests only to seem if for instance, you are prescribed Percocet as a breakthrough med and you take a couple of Vicodin if you run out. They test for the levels of what you are supposed to be one vs what you have taken, Was on methadone for years....
I am determined to challenge the current policy, maybe followup with a blood test if a negative urine test occurs. For those of us who are honest chronic pain sufferers, we are being punsished for those who sell or abuse their medications. I told her that this needs to be looked into (false negatives) not only for me but for all the other chronic pain suffers. Also are there any other pain medications that could work for me if she takes me off the hydrocodone.
Anyhow, I was wondering if when I go into my prenatal visits, and every single time I go in, they have me pee in a cup if they can tell from the urine sample that there's THC in the system, like if they drug test you? They say it's just to check if you have any infections, and whatever, and that it's just what they do for every standard check up.
as far as the thc...I immediatly let him know for it was the weekend before my test, which was on a monday, and I informed him right then and there. So he expected that one, and yes..am still searching will find one, am sure..either way there isnt thc in my system any longer nor was it there in all the other test he gave me, so am sure that one can be taken care of..
James Woodford, a toxicologist associated with Emory University labs hypothesized the pigment melanin which protects the skin from the sun, approximates the molecular structure of the THC metabolite to cross react on the marijuana urine test. Dark skinned Caucasians such as those from the subcontinent of India could also read positive on marijuana tests. The body eliminates some melanin in a dark person's urine sample. Passive marijuana inhalation.

What exactly does this reflect? What is the mg/dl level? Could residents be "flushing" their urine as to not have opiate, THC or other chemical readings appear? Should any level below 14 mg/dl be further investigated by a physician?
The "official" taper was suppose to start tomarrow (Thurs) but I was running low waiting for my script to fill so had to start it early (the day before yesterday) I had no idea there was going to be a random and they do in fact test for the "levels" to see if u have exceeded your script so u can have a script and still get caught (I am also a urine and saliva drug tester) but since I was in the limits at the time and I also pee alot I am hoping it is going to be fine.

I'm in southern California and along with all the basic stuff they test for in your urine they test for drugs as well and if you continue to test dirty they will involve cps when the baby is born
I worked in the field of testing and know that THC (chemical in marijuana) can stay in your system for up to 50 plus days. Depending on how much and what grade you smoked, ate, or drank. Levels of THC absorbs in your fatty tissues which is why it takes time to leave your system. Minimum of 30 days if you were not a hard core smoker of chronic.
Wen they test yr urine for drugs, weed especially, if it comes back positive they dont say anything to you they just want to know if yr high risk. I smoked occasionally with my first as I was a smoker b4 I got pregnant. Ooooooo can feel the dirty looks! Anyways im honest my boy is fine, smart, active and loves learning. after yr baby is born is when id be worried if yr still there.
It was devastating. Ive stopped totally but cant count on urine screening panels to test myself before trying to get another pain managment doctor. Is there anyway to know when I will not test positive for THC metabs? Anything I can do to help the body cleanse other than lots of water? Feel helpless.....cant find anything on the subject....I suppose I could buy my own GC test??
I assume it would show up in your second urine after having taken your medication. Did you save a pill for your monthly urine test? If you did, then you are one of the people causing us legitimate patients all sorts of grief. I can't think of any other reason why it would be so important that it show up in a hurry other than the one I stated. I don't know what else to say.........I hope I'm wrong about this.
Substances Causing False Positives Jefwriter According to a report by the Los Angeles Times News Service, a study of 161 prescription and over-the-counter medications showed that 65 of them produced false positive results in the most widely administered urine test.
my question is if I test positive for marijuana even though I haven't touched it since the day I signed the contract, is it possible that I may be kicked out or do you think my doctor will understand and check me again in a week or two to make sure the thc levels dropped? They can't expect me to have known about the contract ahead of time, can they? Should I be honest and straightforward when I give the urine sample and just tell him that I had smoked prior to signing?
They will just continue to test your levels of THC within the next couple weeks and if they haven't gone down then they will proceed to do other actions. My friend just had her baby a couple months ago and she had THC in her system when she delivered and cod wasn't involved.
Let your doctor know. And they can drug test you, by a urine sample. They will do it three times. Once the first time u speak to ur doctor, another time around 30 weeks, and then they can again right before your due date. As long as your urine is clean the last two tests (especially the one right before birth), they can't take your baby from you.
Botox doesn't help at all. Don't worry about your urine test . It's for Ins purposes mandated by them. I take Ambein at night, but Ins isn't going to pay for it anymore. Hard to sleep more than 2 hrs at a time. Believe me know how you feel. Good luck. Feel better soon.
No babies have been taken away in the US due to thc.
it will be ok...demand a re-test tho and that will assure him that you are being honest...most urine tests can not differentiate narcotics from each other...
Prior to that I had been a heavy user for about seven years. During this recent rapid weight loss i failed a urine screen for thc. The test was taken around the 1st of December and the weight loss began the 17th of November. I am not wanting to go to jail for something I didnt even do. Please let me know where I can find documentation for my case.
I asked if it was possible to test positive for THC from second hand and she told me the levels they test for are too high to register if it was from second hand exposure. She asked again if I was smoking marijuana. I told her the last time I smoked was over a year ago. My husband wanted me to try some medicinal grade marijuanna to see if it helped with my pain. He said it would relax my body and alleviate some pain. I did and it made things ten times worse!
I can say that in Illinois they do test urine for illicit substances. Your doctor will nicely ask you to stop and if you don't comply they will test you again in a couple of months, if the levels are high enough they will contact child services. My good friend had her baby taken from her days after he was born and she spent seven months fighting to get him back. Its just not worth it.
If a heavy marijuana user is trying to detox, will working out or exercising cause an increase of THC in the body and urine? Can the toxins that the fat cells release be detected directly through urine tests or would a hair test or blood test have to be performed?
that you have appropriate levels in your urine. Too much/too little might indicate you are not in compliance 3. they test for barbituates, benzodiazepines, opiates/opiods, and cocaine/crack/marijuana/meth...my doc tests for all of my controls. I have cancer, I take a lot of different types of meds..so he uses probably a more advanced testing method once in a while. (after the first one did not show my oxycodone which I could not keep down for 3-4 days-it had totally cleared my system).
