You only need to do the hiv test which is done through a blood test, also a herpes test which is also done through a blood test.

It is a waste of time and money. Two good urine tests are available, best results are from first void early moring urine. A swab test from the penis is excelent if the GEN-probe test is used. gon tests were urine tests both times. The first time was the NAA test and the second time was the RNA/TMA test. Nit sure what the difference is? With my first baby i got a urine test every visit to test for all the various things they test for but this time around i had to get a new dr and he hasnt asked for urine once and im 21 wks should i be worried how will they know if i have protien in my urine or if theres any infection or whatever they test for. Those tests are very reliable. You had the tests 3 weeks after exposure so thats more time than needed. You can test for those anytime after 3 days from exposure. You can be 100% confident in your testing.

Its possible that when the hospital took the urine tests,her urine was diluted,so couldnt pick up a positive.maybe she is still in the early stages.

( each time I have tested we had unprotected sex the night before so there is still semen in me when I test. Would that affect the results??
