Good Day Doc,
I had a protected sex encounter with a sex worker about 3 weeks ago. At the third day of my exposure, i did an Urine Culture Test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Test result is negative. However, these few days i am having some weird tickling feeling on my penis. Sometimes, i can feel some sharp tickling at the tip of my penis, especially when i am walking. But, I do not feel any pain during my urination.
My questions are:
- Is the urine test on the 3rd day conclusive?
had urine test that showed WBC(5-9), trace leukocytes and >100000 mixed gram positive flora. What exactly is mixed gram positive flora, gram positive bacteria? also did not do clean catch, I also had routine blood test and when trying o give urine sample the blood was dripping down my are, had to set cup down to clean arm, and did not do midstream. results said probable contamination, why is this?
gon tests were urine tests both times. The first time was the NAA test and the second time was the RNA/TMA test. Nit sure what the difference is? Also had complete urianlysis done on 8/11 and everything was normal. No WBC. Fast forward another month and a half. Another full panel test and urinalysis on 9/28 all negative. The WBC did come back at 0-5 but that was listed as the reference range so it wasn't flagged as abnormal.
Hi - this is a two part question.
1. In July, I had a ThinPrep pap test as part of my first prenatal appointment. A "Chlamydia, Nuc. Acid Amp" test was performed and it tested positive. I have been married for 11 years with no other partners and have never tested positive (this is my third child), so I asked for a retest. The next day I took a urine test - "Chlamydia trachomatis, NAA" and it came out negative.
I tested positive for gonorrhea and have been treated. I noticed pain during and bleeding after intercourse and sought medical advice and then later found out that I was positive. I had only gotten "sick" after having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for about 2 weeks after our summer break. It was suggested to me that he may have cheated because I had unprotected sex with him for about 6 months and never got as "sick" as I did after those 2 weeks.
I went with a lady that reads the cards and she told me i might be pregnant but ive already went to the dr and did urine and blood test and they come out negative but i havent gotten my period and im very regular also i feel like im always bloaded and i get a lot of nausea after i eat i wanted to see if any of you have experienced something similar or might know what is happening with me? thank you for you time!
i got a blood test from Quest Diagnostics, called a 1800 number and went in to a building had them draw blood and gave my urine, i came back negative for herpes 1, 2 and syphillis. i still have symptoms. They said their test are 99.9% accuarte. Is it possible that i could still have something? Maybe something like herpes but not herpes?
s earlier today so they could confirm pregnancy and set up my first OB appointment. The test came back negative! I had drank a ton of water about an hour before the appointment, though, because I was so dizzy I thought I was going to black out. The water helped me, of course, but I think it may have diluted my urine so much that my test was negative.
I hate waiting games! They sent me to get bloodwork because the nurse said this happens sometimes. So I get my beta levels tomorrow. UGH!
You pm'd me that your doctor was adamant that you can not get pregnant because you have not had sex. Are you actually asking if you are pregnant again?
You get results immediately from both of those if they were for pregnancy. As in right there and then.
So i had a chlamydia/Gonorrhea urine sample amplification test through labcorp. I had it on the 6th day after possible encounter and had discharge that morning as well as some staining in my undies the previous couple of days with itching involved. I was sure to catch "first Void" and kept it under 30 ml directions were between 20-30 ml, I was also sure to not urinate for over 2 hours prior to testing. The test came back negative for both.
Hello I wanted to see if any one can help me with my results. I had a urine dip and came back With the following results
WBC 2+
Ketones 2+
Uro 2+
Is this something to be alarmed ? I currently have erythema nodosm and can’t find the cause of this, what can my urine results be related to ? I don’t have diabetes and I’m not having UTI symptoms at all.
