urine test protein results

if protein is not found in urine, will urine antibody test for any disease show no results? Or is it possible that there is antibody in urine but urine routine will show no protein present ?

The spinal was cancelled for unrelated reasons. My 24 hour urine test came back with high protein and blood in the urine (this has been on-going for years). My neurologist had a fit and ordered this test. See results above. I was diagnosed with White Matter Disease after two years of MRI results. The Spinal was because of suspicion of Multiple Sclerosis. Why not buy a pack of urine reagent test strips that you can use to test your urine for protein. A pack of 100 strips can be had for not too much money ($12.00 to around $50 depending on the brand). Find them through Google. Then if you see that you do have protein in your urine, you could use the strip as evidence to show your primary doctor that you need a referral to a nephrologist. I like the idea of using strips for testing at different times of day.
