Moreover, culture tests are harder to conduct sometimes causing lots of false negatives in inexperienced hands.

For guys, I have tried both receptive and insertive (condom) anal and (unprotected) oral sex. I was tested for both Chlamydia and Gonorrhea and they were negative for the URINE TEST. I’m now waiting results for oral and anal swab tests. Just wondering.. assuming I got Oral Chlamydia and Gonorrhea and I had given oral sex to my partner; she has a risk and *might be infected*.

Needles to say after this morning I went to the doctor who did a urine test and I told him about the levofloxcin. The urine test came back negative. He is still sending it off for culture. But could the levofloxcin have cuase a false negative that quick on the urine test. Also after the doctor visit and taking that 1 tablet of levofloxcin I have no symptoms..discharge or need to urinate, Could this all be cause of condom irration? It was a condom without spermicide.

I know it is Gonorrhea and Chlamydia, but I was wondering if they can test for any others as well. I know there are other things like trich infections etc. Back in December I got chlamydia. Ive been on azythromycin twice and levaquin as well as suprax for gonorrhea even though I tested negative for it. I have taken two tests since and both have come back negative from gonorrhea and chlamydia. Things just dont feel right down there. I have been to a urologist twice, and he thinks I am okay.

The test for both of those infections would be a urethra swab. If that was done at least 6 days after exposure then you dont have either. Normally with these std,s there is also a white puss urethra discharge and burning and itching when urinating.
