urine test for baby gender

Have any of you tried any online gender predictors for fun?! I tried the Chinese calender and this old wives tale..Both said I'd have a girl :) I dont think I am actually far along enough for the old wives one though bc it asks about belly shape & such...I'll probably re-take it in a couple months. Also have any of you ever used the gender test you can buy at the drug store that I think "determines" the sex by your urine or something?!!

Told her she was having a girl, and she had a bouncing baby boy. Like any otc gender prediction kit, they have a 50/50 chance of being right (or wrong). :) I personally wouldn't waste money on it. Just wait for the ultrasound.

if you can't get it to work, don't stress.. it's just something people do for fun. there's absolutely nothing in your urine that mixes with baking soda to give you the TRUE gender of your baby.. it's only right half the time because everyone who does it has a 50/50 chance.. so of course it's going to be correct for SOME people lol but it's only because of pure luck..

Well my husband and I did it just for fun and it was right. Lol having ourselves a little man!!!

So i did this test today for fun.. and the result I got was a boy.. it will be a long time until I can see if it is accurate...

t work sometimes they give you a right answer and sometimes a wrong one. I can across another mom blog which talks about this baby gender test with urine. I did the gender test with my first and it was wrong. It said boy and I have a perfect little girl. I don't trust it.

So far i did the BAKING SODA GENDER TEST and the RED CABBAGE GENDER TEST. For both i got boy results, so this mornimg i tried the DRANO GENDER TEST. All u need is Drano Crystals and your first morning urine. In a clear container put 2tbsp or so of the drano crystals and YES it has to be the crystals no other drano. Go outside before mixing because the smell is HORRIBLE lol. Ok so you pour about 2 ounces of urine into the clear container with the 2tbsp of drano.

I tried today the drano test, baking soda test and the clorox test and all of them showed results for a girl but I know those old wives are just for fun and does not guarantee anything. Now, I feel better with whatever gender God send me :) Anyone that want to share results?

The bakingsoda gender test was right for me I had a girl last year. With this pregnancy iv done the cabbage gender test and you boil the cabbage for 20-30 minutes until the color is almost out of the purple cabbage and you add half of pee and half of the cabbage juice, if its a purple color then that would be a girl and if its a reddish purple then its a boy. I did the cabbage it said boy and Chinese chat said girl but it was wrong with all 3 of my pregnancies.

yeahhh, I wouldn't do that.. plus, from what I learned in college.. there's no "test" other than a blood test that can determine the sex of the baby without an ultrasound. baking powder, bleach, etc. none of that has anything that can detect the male or female hormone from you baby.. I'm super anxious too!! lol BUT I'm not wasting my time with those things.. good luck!!

Oh yay! See July baby group isnt quite far enough to find out the gender for sure yet so thats why i posted it here, mine fizzed up right away! so only time will tell!

Im sorry but i agree with these ladies $30 for a stupid gender teller come on u can spend that on stuff for ur baby everyone knows babys arent cheap why dnt u try websits for gender predictions my sister found on last year when she was pregnant and it was correct and everyone that we knew that was or had a baby resently it was correct with them the websit for it is http://www.fortunebaby.

Gender test said boy and ultrasound said girl. I followed the directions exactly. I wouldn't recommend product.

The chinese gender chart, string and ring test, how im carrying and the babys heart rate all said boy and, I am having a boy! The chinese gender test said boy, string and ring test said boy, im carrying low which is a boy and his heart rate has always been under 160 which says boy.

Has anyone tried the gender maker test to find out the sex of the baby early and did it work for you? We thought it might be fun. :) I'm almost positive it's a boy. All "symptoms" lead to boy! I have no morning sickness. The baby came from the right ovary. Chinese calendar says boy. My pee is a brighter yellow. Ive had breakouts on my face. The heart beat is really fast. etc..... my husband wants a boy but I was kind of hoping for a girl. We're only 12 weeks 5 days now.

What are some old wives tales for finding out the sex of the baby? And did they work for you?

re having a boy!! So excited we got what we were hoping for. Ultrasound was a let down because baby was behind up and face towards my spine so didn't get any good shots. I had a full bladder from waiting so long and she said that was good because of baby's position and if I had gone pee she wouldn't gave been able to tell gender. Hopefully we can afford 3D/4D scan soon for better shots. So happy right now!

Who has tried the urine and baking soda test? And did it work for you? I did it twice and both times it fizzled. If its accurate that means I'm having a boy. I have to wait about 12 more weeks till I find out for sure, I cant wait I'm on edge and the suspense is killing me lol.

It is most definitley a boy though. Chinese Gender Chart was wrong. Drano test was wrong. Every single test said girl and I was so sure itd be a girl. There is no denying his boy parts.

So today I did the red cabbage gender test. Just for fun lol. Theoretically, red cabbage reacts the pH in your urine like other "gender tests" you can buy do. If the water turns red or pink, it supposedly means boy, and if it is purple, it's a girl. Mine turned from an indigo to a deep purple, so its guess is a girl. Lol Guess we'll find out for sure in a couple weeks when I go for my ultrasound!

Yes, me and a friend both tried it....it said boy for both of us and sure enough as soon as we got out gender scans we are both having girls...
