There is a drug called Bentyl (Dicycloverine) prescribed for IBS that can potentially cause a false positive. There may be others too. It also depends on how good the lab is that is doing the testing. Sometimes there's sloppy work or cross-contamination, particularly in the 'collection' phase.

Is it possible for a false positive or alcohol in a urine test if youre diabetic? Im in a suboxone clinic and I get tested every two weeks. I was positive two consecutive times in July when I had my toe amputated and then it was fine now I tested positive again in November two consecutive times again. I had the Comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Test panels which screens for numerous illicit drugs. I had to give blood and urine. They will ask you what medications you are on also. Si I agree with Hrsepwrguy and go back to your Dr to get a prescription for the Suboxone. I also checked about the drug interactions between Suboxone and Harvoni and they were minor. So you need to talk to your Dr. Forget about the stigma this is about your health and comfort.
On line the only tests they seem to offer are urine based and her solicitor has specified blood test. I have not and would not touch drugs and want to clear my name and resume access to my children but can not find anywhere that can help. Money is restricted due to my partner being made redundent last week. My ex knows all of this and I'm afraid is just another move in her game. Can anyone help??
Unfortunately people often read pregnancy tests wrong. So a blood or urine test by your doctor would probably be the best way to go. Or get a different pregnancy test that is easier to read.
That being said, no matter how faint a line (unless its to the point of being an imaginary line) it tends to mean a person is pregnant. Testing your urine first thing in the morning may produce a darker line.
