5615074 tn?1378316840 The doctor said I had trace of blood in my urine as well as white blood cells. What does this mean? I also have out of alignment something in my back.
Avatar m tn Based on my experience, blood in the urine was due to urinary tract infection. I felt pain in my vagina when passing urine and drops of blood came out after the urine. My gynecologist gave me antibiotics to treat the infection. If your wife feels the same, better take her to the doctor immediately.
Avatar n tn I have had five urine test that showed blood in my urine with no infection. I am not pregnant. I am 41. I have endometriosis. I hope that this has nothing to do with the endo. My pain is in my back just under my bra line on the left. It runs down the left side of my back and on the lower left. Sometimes I get the same pain on the right side, but most of the time it is on the left. It is a burning sensation. It also runs up into my shoulder and down my left arm.

Avatar f tn So fibroids have no relation with blood in urine unless or until there was any bladder trauma or the malignancy had spread locally. Presence of blood in urine is called hematuria. Causes include lesions of the urinary tract, Kidney pathologies, trauma, tumors, malaria or stones in the urinary tract. In your case UTI needs to be probed thoroughly as to whether it is responsible for causing such symptoms. I feel that without clinical examination, pinpointing a diagnosis is tough.
Avatar n tn When he went back for a recheck the infection was gone but he had blood in his urine which he says he can not see. He was sent to a urologist who also found blood still in his urine. He said there were 5 red blood cells which was not high. He has ordered a CT scan of his kindeys. My question is can a boy that young already develop kindey stones and what causes them? Is there anything that can be changed in his diet to help prevent them?
Avatar n tn For the past nine months I have had intermittent bouts of excruciating pain in my left flank associated with visible blood in my urine. I have had at least five episodes that required trips to the ER or doctor's office. I've had 3 CTs (the last one was with and without contrast), 2 ultrasounds, and a cystoscopy which have all been negative. The last two episodes have revealed a UTI with a positive culture for e coli--the other episodes did not show signs of infection.
5650943 tn?1374112808 So im at the doc and they got a urine sample and believe i have blood in my urine tmi im scared never been through this before ;( sitting here crying in the office so embrassed omg thinking to myself how this happen
Avatar n tn Overwhelmingly, the most common cause of blood in your urine is a kidney stone. That presents with the same symptoms as IC, so it's possible that you've simply had a kidney stone and mistaken it for your IC. Infection is also a possibility...a mild infection may simply have cleared up on its own. But your safest bet is definitely going to see your doctor. Let us know what he/she says.
Avatar n tn The most common cause of red blood cells in the urine is a bladder infection. Other caused such as kidney stones, menstruation contamination of the sample, kidney disease, and bladder of kidney cancer. A microscopic urine analysis is usually done to confirm the presents of red blood cells and urine culture is often done to rule out infection. If red cells are present in significant numbers, a CT scan of the kidneys and bladder are done.
Avatar n tn If blood is negative is there still a chance that infection has occured. Urine samples are also negative.
Avatar f tn I just saw some blood in my urine while I used the bathroom a very small amount infact. Should I be worried ? I'm 36 weeks?
Avatar f tn They did all kind of test and the only answer as to why I have the blood is that I am just one of those people that is going to have blood in the urine. Is that correct? Or could there be a reason for the blood? I have at least 3 or more times a year a UTI infection. It will be a batterical infection. The last time I had it they put me on cipro. Is there anyway I can prevent those infections?
Avatar m tn uti is treated with cipro an antbiotic usually for 7 daays 2 x day. yeast infection is treated with a pill called diflucan tasken by mouth 1 time. vaginitis is inflamation from the intercourse due to dry walls and not sufficient lubricant or allergic reaction to the spermicide in condomes or the material of the condom, treated with corisone cream rx strenght. try to urinate after sex, this fluches out the area and expells gerns as urne is sterile.
