When I experience spotting or light bleeding, it was due to exercising, urinary tract infection or dehydration. I have experience that at 7 weeks, 12 weeks and furthur along I was in my pregnancy.

I am 30 years old and 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I had some spotting off and on before I found out I had a urinary tract infection. I took the antibiotics and the spotting stopped. It has been stopped for about 2 weeks now. I started spotting again this morning and I'm wondering if I should go to the ER or if I should wait until monday to call my doctor. I am not having any cramps and the spotting is very light pink. I am also Onegative if that helps. thank you.

I was having symptoms of a urinary tract infection, but without a infection. No bacteria. Thats right, if thats what it feels like, ask your gynecologist, it regularly gets overlooked. If you have to pee a lot pain with your vulva, urgency with heaviness - your bladder still filling full, and pain in the lower abdomen-your ovary area.......call your gynocologist. Just this morning about 8am i felt like i needed to urinate, i felt some pain after urination like im having an urinary infection, after the last drop of my urine i sit fir a while bec of the pain and when I stood up to check the bowl, I saw small drop of blood like what they said to be spotting. but my undies are clean and no drops of blood. i urinated again at 10am. i'm so worried and i hope someone can make it clear to me. As far as the odor, i dont know exactly what could cause that, one possibility could be a urinary tract infection which is common among sexually active girls

If you have inflammation that could mean a urinary track infection if they did a urine test. Does it burn when you urinate? Your symptoms do sound like a possible yeast infection. Are there any drug stores where you live? If so, you can buy an over the counter medication for a yeast infection. If you do not have this and still use the medication it will not hurt you. Had a call from my midwife today to let me know the results of my urine test and they show I have a urinary tract infection (UTI). I've had no symptoms but she said I need some antibiotics. Has this happened to anyone else, should I be worried?

If yu think it's a urinary infection try drinking cranberry juice until you can see your doctor. That's what they told my sister to do to treat hers and it worked.

Hi, I have been badly troubled with recurring Urinary infections. My urine culture shows I am infected with proteus mirabilis bacteria. This is the third time I am infected with in last 3 months. I had a cystoscopy done and my doctor said that every thing looked good. I am taking LEVAQUIN 500 now for the infection. I am told to take it for 3 weeks. Could you please help to understand why I keep getting the infection? I am really worried about this. Do I need to consult another doctor?

It could be implantation spotting. I had a urinary tract infection that caused a little spotting as well. Don't fret too much I too had a miscarriage two years ago and am now 25 weeks and having a wonderful pregnancy. Best of luck to you.

Stomachaches or more like cramps? Have you try calling the doctor? Spotting also happen to me and doctor said it was fine as long as it wasnt bright red or filling up a pad or cramping..but to be safe i would just call the doctor and check with them.

A couple of days ago I felt symptoms associated with Urinary Tract Infection; painful urination, increased pressure and extreme pain inside pelvic area and bladder caused by urinating, frequent need to urinate. But it went away quickly. A day or so later (now), it has rapidly returned. All the same symptoms, just more intense. In addition, I am spotting now. The more intense the internal pain is during urination, the more the spotting is. These two symptoms are hand in hand.

I know I experience pink spotting throughout my pregnancy, the causes were dehydration, sex, exercising, sometimes standing on my feet too long, urinary tract infection and just the pressure of my uterus may cause some spotting, but neither spotting was associated with cramps, fever...or flu like symptoms.

This could be spotting from stress (stress wreaks havoc on our cycles), changes in diet, hormonal changes (starting or stopping birth control pills), a urinary tract infection, or a host of other things. Only your doctor, who does an exam and testing, will be able to tell you.

Sounds like it could be a urinary tract infection which if it is you'll need antibiotics to clear it up
