Avatar n tn He serves as an infantryman in the United States Army. My husband has been having back pain for over a year now. He just recently (a week ago) got an MRI. He's been pushing for it, but if you know the military you know they really don't care about the health of the soldiers. Anyways, the results of the MRI showed a herniated disk and that his spine is leaking fluid. The military ALSO will not let me go to the doctor with him so that I can ask questions.
Avatar m tn I just know that I have welfare insurance...I am on social security, and have 3 kids....even if I could find a dentist that would touch that tooth....and haven't had luck yet...it wouldn't be one that would take my insurance.......so I am left with an infection that is riddling my face and taking my insanity and no one that will take the cash that I DON"T have to begin with...or my welfare insurance.....
Avatar f tn s safe to have dental work done and instead of asking for military wives advice, google for offices close to you and read reviews and the dentist qualifications.
Avatar f tn My questions basically come down to -- has anyone successfully lobbied their physician to get an MRI done instead of a CT scan (assuming insurance allows it) -- or lobbied to get another type of test done? How best to get the doctor to not brush this off? And of course, am I being paranoid or proactive? Of course if you are familiar with reasons a CT scan is preferable to the MRI for back and abdominal pain, I would like to know this before I call the office on Monday.

In 2012 I found out my best friend and shipmate in the Navy has Hep C my question is does any other Navy Submariners have Hep C? Let me know. VA and the gov't have done studies and show that a large percentage of Vietnam era Vets have Hep C -- testing was not done then.

My guess is if you have United, you will probably acrrue a similar hospital bill but your best bet would be to call United directly.
148588 tn?1465778809 We have never in our history had a military ruler. Military obedience to civilian authority is critical and essential if we are to maintain the democracy we inherited. That is why "contempt towards officials" is such a serious matter. Lincoln enforced that discipline during the Civil War. Even with the imposition of martial law, Lincoln remained a civilian commander. Truman enforced the same discipline after WWII when he relieved Gen. MacArthur of his command.

Avatar n tn hi, i don't have any dental insurance so I need to pick and choose which tests and procedures at the dentist are really needed. I ask you this because I hope to find unbiased opinion. Last time I skipped the peridontal xray, but got the cavity xray and cleaning...he found 2 tiny cavities that ran me $400 out of my pocket but later a hygenist said maybe that wasn't necessary as the decay could have been reversed...
