I was dx one year ago, Jan 2010 with RRMS. My MRI at that time showed about 10 white matter lesions. I had a repeat MRI in Oct 2010, and just saw my neurologist last week to go over the results. He told me I had 5 new lesions, that were not there on the Jan MRI. My question: Are five new lesions a lot in a 9 month period of time? I will be starting Tysabri infusions soon. Thanks........

( I am not thrilled w Tysabri at this point. Was doing really well on it, from Jan 2010 until the summer when I lost my voice for 3 months. Tysabri was D/C then per Neuro. In case that was a side effect. I went back on Tysabri in Dec. My voice is still an issue. Neuro doesn't know still if side effect, and is leaving it up to me if I want to stay on. She would like me to stay on it, as there is no other alternative for me at the moment.

Hi, Yes I have MS, I was diagnosed in Dec. 2010, I have being with a lot of symtoms, especialy that invisible symtoms, like ms hung, electricity and more. I was in Copaxone for about one year, then my neuro decided to move me to tysabri, I started tysabri two months a go. But I don't feel good.

Could you give us a little background on what meds you've tried and for how long? I'm sure you've mentioned it before but I have a hard time keeping track of so much.

I will be a Dec'10/Jan'11 IVFer. I just starting looking for cycle buddies.

1839.0 (Values on 28th Jan 2010) 1060.0 (values on 01 Feb 2010) I am married with her from last 4 years and I am detected with negative HBsAg. So I dnt think so she is a chronic carrier (or could she be ?). and from these result shall you able to tell whether she will be cured fully or not. The doctor advised for HBcAg after 3 days. We are very much worried for her. Shall any body can help us to interpret these results correctly?

I was dx in Jan 2010...my brain MRI showed 10 lesions. I chose no DMD and began LDN. I had a repeat MRI in Oct 2010 that showed an additional 5 lesions. At my next neuro appointment, my neuro said that the LDN was not helping and that we needed to get more aggressive, He suggested Tysabri or Gilenya, but stated he wished there was more real use data on the Gilenya.

So, are you driving 4 hours each way once a month for your Tysabri? I am sure you can find a infusion site closer to your home. Just go on the Tysabri website and it will show you a list of sites and also, neuros that are already a part of the TOUCH program. I have had one depo shot back in May of 2010. I was due for my second one on August 27, 2010. i didnt go for it. Now my period started back normal in October now its March 28th and I havent had my period since Jan 4, 2011. I have taken 3 home tests and all are coming up negative. I have also severe breast pain. Mostly it comes when I take my bra off.. Not really sure if I am pregnant or not. I feel the same just a little more sleepy than usual.

I have been on Rebif for 8 years but my most recent MRI shoes several new lesions since 2010 and dr wants me to change therapies. I have ruled out going to another type of injection and don't think I should do Tysabri yet. Does any one have experience with switching over to Tecfidera, Aubagio , or Gilenya ? The new lesions are in the cerebellum and have caused walking and balance issues. Thank you in advance for any advice or info.

thats right in between 2 guys i had sex with. my ex bf on jan 1, 2010 and then with somebody else on jan13, 2010 and jan 15, 2010 so i dont know when i got preg. if it is my ex bf or the other guy. can somebody help me figure it out please.

My neurologist says that the symptom flareups I've had since 2010 are only pseudo-exacerbations because the MRI I had in 2010 showed no enhancing lesions so the MS isn't active. Thoughts?

2010 and used Oxycodone for pain for 1 day. It worked just as it did for my surgery and it expired in Jan/2010. My Dr. at Moffitt Cancer center also said it was okay as well as my Dentist.

My neuro decided to send me to UCSF to see if Tysabri would work for me. We had a LOOONNNNGGG talk about the risks and the specialist gave me the impression that the risks were MUCH lower than they are. He also gave me the impression that if I tested negative for the JC virus antibodies that my risks were almost nil..

Hi all the Mummies due in November 2010! Congrats to you all! I have known for almost 5 weeks that I am pregnant and due November 2010 but I didn't realise there was a forum! How is everyone feeling? I had my first ultrasound yesterday, I thought I was to be 8wks 3 days, the baby measured 8wks 5 days so that's good with a little heartbeat, it was amazing. This is my second pregnancy (had a miscarriage in Jan 2010) and feeling kinda yucky but haven't been sick.
