If you just have episodic periods of stress, though, not a major problem, then yes, but there are a lot of types of massage and again, some are more relaxing than others. Some are quite painful while you're doing them, but they hopefully help with pain control so you try them. Don't think research is kind to it truly fixing anything. So if you want to do it to relieve stress, look for gentle types of massage that do that. Peace.

Usually a combined approach of a pain killer and a non-medication therapy helps give best pain relief. Please consult your doctor regarding this. Take care!

a towel was placed beneath me and i was given a body massage. Over several months Iwe did traction, (which helped aLOT), and my PT would massage the small muscles that were causing such major pain. We did different types exercises, specifically to loosen and relax these muscles.
It took some work, but not too much time before the headaches slowly subsided, along with the pain in my neck and and upper back.
Something for you to consider, and no matter what I hope you get those migraines under control. They will ruin your day.

Your walking incorrectly as the bodies way to protect your injured foot has possibly put you in the cycle of muscular imbalance. Physical therapy can help you regain strength, BUT what many PT's and Drs fail to address is possible muscle knots that will intervene with the healing and strengthening process - thus the pain continues.
I never had an MRI, or CT scan, but being a License Massage Therapist, I know a little bit about these types of injuries. I can no longer work, let alone perform any light duties with that arm or shoulder. I was once very active and ran marathons. I am sad, depressed, and I don't know where to turn. Is there a physician out there who will take me pro bono?
Hand jobs, nuro massage, etc. are no risk at all for std's. Hands do not give someone an std. Nor does taking a bath with someone. If you received unprotected oral, that has a low risk associated with it. And NOTHING starts the very next day.
Anxiety can do all kinds of things. I can't recall if you are in therapy, but it would certainly help if you aren't.
I had an ablation done almost 4 years ago and the SVT is now a memory for me. It is a no brainer and an very non invasive procedure that i always say is a heck of alot easier than a root canal. As long as the doc says you are in the 70% or higher range for success i wouldn't even hesitate. I got my life back plus some and most people go home a couple of hours after the procedure you will be surprised at how easy it is. As far as littlegreenmans post goes....

Both are fine. Make sure when your making the apt that they know your prego. But your fine doing either. I get massages as often as I can. Most massage therapists are trained in prenanatal massage. The real difference is they just don't use a lot of pressure.
i doubt any amount of therapy will ever rid him of his fascination w/ heels but maybe having them at home on his wife is a start
then, like kittycat7 said, if he continues to keep this from his mate, it would be hurtful and damaging and his wife would probably think as im beginning to, that he's just WILLFULLY SEEKING his thrill and pleasure elsewhere
