1026267 tn?1257591273 I don't know if almond or rice milk have the iodine in them or not, but there is one other thing that might be of help here. I found out that people with type "O" blood should not use coconut or palm anything, even the healthy extra virgin kind. I also found out that dairy isn't really good for type "O" people either.

Avatar f tn I have been looking into this blood type diet myself being a blood type O but recently I have become concerned if I suffer manic episodes or am bipolar. Certain periods in my life become notably amazing. Usually when Im relatively lean I find myself with too much energy than I know what to do with! My social life improves dramatically! I quit 2 different jobs during these periods of "high". I almost become contagious during these periods wishing I could feel like this forever!

Avatar n tn Can anyone give me tips on a good diet plan or food to eat to lose fat and weight?
480448 tn?1426948538 You can make some changes in your diet to include more healthy choices. Cutting down on fattier foods, and processed foods will go a long way in helping with weight management, and management of cholesterol, lipids, etc. A lot of people think you can become diabetic by eating a lot of sugar. That is not true. "Everything in moderation" is a great mantra for diet.
Avatar f tn ) ut im conserned on the fact that i have O- blood type and My OBGYN did say that on the 2nd time expecting it was more risking... Does any one know more info about this? I realldy didnt get much just the part that my body attacks the baby... So HELP!
Avatar f tn Reason why, the only reason why having o- blood type is a problem is if your baby has a different blood type then you and for some reason your blood is mixed during pregnancy then your body will not recognize it and try to fight it off like an infection. It will create antibodies but those antibodies only happen in second, third, or any other pregnancy in the future.Your body won't make them during your first.
Avatar n tn Has any one else been placed on a low sodium diet by their baby doctor? I was told I have high blood pressure and just as a caution I should go on a low sodium diet. Avatar f tn Soo my midwife informed me that I'm O-negative which means my blood can't pass thru to the babies blood because my cells will fight against it so at 28 weeks I have to have an injection to prevent this from happening in the mean time if I fall or bang my bump i have 48 hours to get this injection before it can cause harm?? Has any1 ever heard of this ??
Avatar f tn I had it before and will need it again with this little one. I'm not gonna lie the shot hurt a lot lol. Other than that your baby will be fine.
Avatar f tn If your body senses babies blood and they have a positive blood type your body will try to get rid off the foreign body, the shot prevents this from happening. You and baby are fine now just be careful and they usually give the shot at 28 weeks. Luckily both my husband and I are positive. My mom was negative so she had to go through this with me.

1346724 tn?1282322904 We tried the GFCF diet. It didn't change anything for us. We saw no improvements in anything the few months we were on it. It doesn't hurt to try it, nonetheless. It isn't easy - you're going to have to check labels for a lot of ingredients that are less obvious milk and gluten carriers. But it is doable. Our pedi had us put my son on a good multivitamin (you'll have to check and make sure the multi is GFCF, too!) so that he wasn't lacking in nutrients.
Avatar f tn If you could completely cut all sugar and basically all grains and not overdo your fruit intake, you would be eating a perfect diet for GD. (and a really awesomely healthy diet in general!

Avatar f tn Okay so my blood type is o-negative , I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow and everybody has been telling me that I'm suppose to get a shot twice so that my blood doesn't fight off the babies blood if he has a different type. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Should I call my Dr and ask?
Avatar f tn I have O- blood and I have just found out that I am expecting. My mum suffered various miscarriages due to this reason as her body rejected the baby. I'm scared incase I do the same as it's just nature. What can I do to prevent this? Someone please help.
637356 tn?1301924822 Im not sure if any website would offer that for free (there might be, but I don't know of any for free). But to be honest if you cut out any type of soda, junk food and excess sugar you will see weight loss. You could also try googling "healthy meals" and see what you can come up with and kind of put everything together. also if you try not to eat to many bread products that will also help with the weight loss too. Good Luck!!!
Avatar n tn ve been recently diagnosed with diabetes. i was just wondering if i was type 1 or type 2. when i first found out my blood sugar level was 485. now it's a little bit lower cuz i'm just eating greens. so, i heard from my doctor that i will most likely be type 1 because i'm not overweight and plus i'm young. i just wanted more information on who is most likely to have type 1. can u also give me some recommendations on which diabetes books i should get.
Avatar n tn I would suggest looking for whole food plant-based recipes online. There is a huge body of evidence pointing to the ability of the diet to reverse type 2 diabetes and lower cholesterol levels. Give it a shot for a couple weeks and check your blood scores! I hope this helps!
