I am asking because if you are normal weight this may be type
1 (early) rather than type 2
, which I presume your dr has assumed.
First, if you are overweight, you need to normalize yor weight. THis may be enough to reverse the prediabetes.
Second, you need to get active. Target 30 - 60 minutes minimum every day.
Third, Diet. Low carb, moderate protein, high healthy fats is the way to go. You will also need to consume an appropriate amount of calories for your weight and activity level.
