I am on Trinessa birth control pills. I was wondering if I could use my birth control pills to start my period about a week early, only because my boy friend is coming home from the military the week that I am supposed to start my period and I don't really want this to happen. Any suggestions?
I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate. I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday). I still haven't started my period.
just had a phone appointment with my dr and I told her that on my current pill (cilest-monophasic) I was spotting towards the end of the packet (before the 7 day break) and that I would also spot if I took the packets back to back. She said that I would need a pill with higher estrogen and that she was going to prescribe me a triphasic pill with varying hormone doses throughout the month. She told me that I could also take this back-to-back and I asked her again for reassurance.
I am on trinessa. It is my first month on birth control ever and usually my periods are about 19-25 days apart. I am on my 3rd day of the inactive pills right now and have still not gotten my period. I originally went on birth control because my periods are so irregular and to protect myself against pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test two days ago just to settle my nerves and it came back negative. I still have not gotten it though.
i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.

I was originally on TriNessa and have not taken it for approximately two months now. the day before yesterday, after Intercourse with my husband i noticed some light brown spotting when cleaning up. Yesterday I didn't have any spotting and today it is a darker brown. I have never had this spotting before. My period isn't due until the end of the month.... Is it triphasic (3 different levels of hormones), biphasic (two different levels of hormones during the month) or monophasic (each pill contains the same level of hormones)?

Hello! Sorry this is long, but here is my story... I have a couple questions. I have always had painful and irregular periods. This past July, I went to my family doctor after fainting, vomiting, and having severe abdominal pain. My Dr. had to go deliver a baby, so I lied in the room in horrible pain for a couple hours; when he finally came back in, the pain was gone. He did a pelvic ultrasound a couple days later and found fluid, which led to a diagnosis of a ruptured ovarian cyst.
What pill are you taking? Is it monophasic with the same level of hormones all month or is it triphasic with different levels of hormones?

If you have a couple of months, get on a monophasic pill now and you'll be fine. Monophasic pills have the same dose in every pill, which lets you skip a period by just starting a new pack after 3 weeks (don't take the sugar pill week). I was told by my doc that it's safe to take up to 3 packs in a row before you should let yourself have a period.
And also will our little mishap have caused us to get of again? She is also currently taking cephalexin for her cold and trinessa for birth control.... please help with any information you might have, thanks...
I started my period(bleeding) around the 25 or 27th of may. I started taking Trinessa on the 10th of may. I have been having protected sex for a while now(even though we are both tested). But I had unprotected sex 3 times last night, 2 times were pullouts and the 3rd time was not. Within a period of 2-3 hours. Could i get pregnant?

Hey I had a couple questions my girlfriend is late on her period and is on birth control with TriNessa lo and takes the pills she didn’t receive her period yet and is on 5th inactive pill she’ll take a pill late sometimes but folllow up with 2 pills if she misses one from previous daywhat are the chances she is pregnant ?

Ok im on birth control (trinessa) but while on my period the green pills i dont take them and while visiting my daughters dad we had sex used no protection cuz im on the pill but i should be ovulating right now and i missed taking a pill today.
Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. I take it around same time every day not exact. But it's my blank pills week and I have not been having my normal period. There is not much of a flow, it's mainly when I wipe.
If so, you could check in with the doctor, or a pharmacist, or just the FAQs questions for Trinessa. If they really are just placebos or vitamins [in some bcps, the five "break" pills are just iron tablets] and not progesterone, they shouldn't affect you when you go back on the white pills, even if you took them at the same time as two of the white pills.
I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation.
I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
