Avatar f tn I am on Trinessa birth control pills. I was wondering if I could use my birth control pills to start my period about a week early, only because my boy friend is coming home from the military the week that I am supposed to start my period and I don't really want this to happen. Any suggestions?
Avatar n tn I am on trinessa. It is my first month on birth control ever and usually my periods are about 19-25 days apart. I am on my 3rd day of the inactive pills right now and have still not gotten my period. I originally went on birth control because my periods are so irregular and to protect myself against pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test two days ago just to settle my nerves and it came back negative. I still have not gotten it though.
Avatar f tn A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
Avatar m tn My birth control is Trinessa.
Avatar f tn hello everyone my cousin recomended me ortho tri cyclen as birth control mostly because it worked so goog for her... Before that I was using mirena ... And i had it removed due to very bad side effects... So I asked for ortho but they gave me trinessa a generic form of ortho ... Now from all the research I've been doing and the side effects I've had so far with it makes me belive that I should be using the name brand...
Avatar n tn i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
Avatar m tn I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation. I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
Avatar f tn Hey I had a couple questions my girlfriend is late on her period and is on birth control with TriNessa lo and takes the pills she didn’t receive her period yet and is on 5th inactive pill she’ll take a pill late sometimes but folllow up with 2 pills if she misses one from previous daywhat are the chances she is pregnant ?
Avatar f tn Cysts are so common in premenopausal women, most resolve on their own either by bursting or reabsorbing themselves. Is the Trinessa a type of birth control? That would be my suggestion at this point, however I am not a doctor. The theory behind birth control, is that it stops the ovaries from producing cysts. I think it is a good idea to get checked by your own doc when you go home for Thanksgiving break. Im sure that will make you feel better.
Avatar f tn Ok im on birth control (trinessa) but while on my period the green pills i dont take them and while visiting my daughters dad we had sex used no protection cuz im on the pill but i should be ovulating right now and i missed taking a pill today.
Avatar f tn Im taking TriNessa birth control and i was just wondering if the pills(or birth control pills in general) can make you have an extremely light periods or make you only have spotting or no period at all? my last period was really light and normally my periods are extremely heavy and have been till my last couple of periods. this time, i just spotted a bit and there's light blood when i wipe when going to the restroom maybe its too soon to tell but its worrying me just a lil.
Avatar f tn It might have been long enough, but no guarantee. You might have reinfected each other. See a Dr for additional testing in about 1 week.
Avatar f tn Birth control is another useful option to have regular periods. My favorite birth control pill were the Trinessa 28s. They were super gentle on my body and even kept the acne at bay much better than other pills I tried in the past.
Avatar n tn I stopped taking the trinessa pill and now I'm spotting brownish can that be a sign of pregnacy ?? Or period I had missed two pills during the time I took the birth control and had unprotected sex.. I don't know if to wait to get a period or test ??
Avatar f tn I'm 24 years old. Been on birth control since 9th grade. Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. I take it around same time every day not exact. But it's my blank pills week and I have not been having my normal period. There is not much of a flow, it's mainly when I wipe.
Avatar m tn ve been on norg-eth estra tri (I think the generic of Trinessa? Trisprintec? So many names for birth controls...) for years now, but have had issues with breakthrough bleeding as of the last few months. Thus, my doctor, who is also my GYN, prescribed a different brand. On Sunday the 21st of December I began Lomedia Fe with iron pills for the last few days of my AF. Now, I'm also on the generic of Lamictal, which is Lamotrigine.
Avatar f tn It is best to wait for a month or so for your periods to regularize and then start a suitable birth control method. A visit to a gynecologist for discussion on the most appropriate method will be helpful. If you do not get your periods in a week or so it is suggested to take up pregnancy test. A urine/blood test for determining HCG levels may be done. This is only an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. For more assistance and queries seek the opinion of a gynecologist.
999058 tn?1257563650 I started my new pack of Trinessa last Sunday. I didn't take Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as the alarm set on my phone failed to go off and it totally slipped my mind, yes I know, my bad. during those days, don't recall when exactly, I had unprotected sex, maybe a couple of times. About 4 to 5 days later, my fiance and I had intercourse again and afterward, when I went to use the restroom, there was pinkish spotting on the toilet paper. This is new for me.
Avatar f tn Im scared there is something wrong but Im only 15 and scared to death of the gyno. I wont go unless I have to. Im on Trinessa birth control and accidently missed two pills in a row a week after I had sex with my boyfriend. We used a condom and I had taken my pills before sex. Well a week after sex I started my period early and its lasting for what seems like forever. Please help. Ive looked everywhere.
Avatar f tn With painful, debilitating cramps, and unusually heavy flow. I was first on birth control at 15. My doctor put me on Yasmin. This helped with the cramping and some of the bleeding, though I would still have month long flows. My dr had me take 2 a day with no spacers, and my flow regulated to 10 day breakthroughs. But, I begain my decade long battle with migraines. I switched docs and my new dr put me on the deposit shot for two years.
Avatar n tn I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate. I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday). I still haven't started my period.
Avatar f tn I recently went to the doctor for my yearly exam, explained this to her and she feels that what I have is PCOS. So, she put me on birth control. In the past, I've been on birth control due to my irregular periods. Currently, I've been bleeding for 5 weeks and I've been on the BCP Trinessa for a week and 2 days. I thought that the pill was to stop this bleeding or at least control it but it hasn't yet.
Avatar f tn We discussed the medication I was taking. I told her that about two months before I started on a new birth control, TriNessa, after being on Ortho TriCyclen-Lo for about seven years. When we looked up the side effects, they included fainting, headaches, dizziness. So, the next plan of action was for me to discontinue the use of the TriNessa and the Celexa. After one day of discontinue use, I felt better. I was still having pressure headaches, just not as severe.
