Now my causing says that the name brand has pink pills insted of green ( the last 7 pills ) and it spins to dispence every pill, and trinessa you have to punch trough the bottom to get the pills... Now I just want to know how the name brand of ortho tri cyclen really looks like, if anyone can provide a pic would be very helpful ...... Please I don't need anyone making fun of me here so for anyone that thinks this is just too stupid please don't post anything here ...
Hi there. I started taking Tri-Previfem (orthotricyclen generic) last Wednesday for my insanely heavy periods, and at first I felt fine. But starting yesterday (saturday) I have extreme fatigue, pain in the right side of my neck, hot flashes, headaches, nausea with acid reflux, and a general feeling of not being "right" if that makes sense. I had a pretty bad cold that ended last Monday, I was in bed for days.
I have been on birth control for 6-7 years, about a month or 2 ago i was switched from ortho lo to a generic (tri-previfem), I have been having issues with weight gain and bloating. Could this be caused by the birth control? I exercise daily and still have problems with losing weight. I dont know what to do?
I'm taking tri-previfem it's a generic for sprintec.
I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday.
It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
A month ago, I went to the doctor up at school (I am 20 and attend a university) and the doctor felt my ovaries and said they felt fine; she said the pain was probably still from the ruptures and to just take ibuprofen (it doesn't help). Could the pain still be from the ruptures or is something else going on? Sometime the pain is severe enough to make me just sit still for a couple minutes until it goes away... the pain also seems to wrap around to my lower back at times.

I've been on norg-eth estra tri (I think the generic of Trinessa? Trisprintec? So many names for birth controls...) for years now, but have had issues with breakthrough bleeding as of the last few months. Thus, my doctor, who is also my GYN, prescribed a different brand. On Sunday the 21st of December I began Lomedia Fe with iron pills for the last few days of my AF.
I have been on the pill (Trinessa) for about 2-3 years now, have had regular gyno visits that come out normal and I still bleed. We can have sex one time and not bleed and have it again later on and I'd bleed then or vice versa. It doesn't happen all the time and I've tried to see if each time I bleed, it's because we do a certain thing, but I don't think this is the case. Any ideas as to why this could be happening?
Everyone is different, but I'd just like to say I did the depo shot and it was terrible. A lot of women tell me they've had a similar experience. Talk to your Dr, but I dont suggest it!
I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
t work well if you want to skip your period by taking the packs back to back because the pills go from low dose to high dose of hormones instead of the same level for all 3 weeks. For me, I wanted to stay protected and continued to finish out the pack and went back to respecting the placebo week. My period normalized after a while.

As of now, I take Prilosec, linzess, probiotic, acidophilus, previfem, zinc and a multivitamin every morning. I usually eat this with an applesauce or apple and I can keep this down, but it does take work and discomfort. I notice as the day goes on, anything I eat makes me feel sick to my stomach and I feel like I am going to explode unless i throw up. I have gone from 138 to 113 pounds and I am 5'8".

I have had a hormonal imbalance for 2 years (producing too much androgen) and in that time I had gained quite a bit of weight. I am now taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen and have actually begun to FINALLY start losing weight. My weight loss is not much yet, but I was wondering if taking these birth control pills is actually the reason for my weight loss?
I'm 24 years old. Been on birth control since 9th grade. Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. I take it around same time every day not exact. But it's my blank pills week and I have not been having my normal period. There is not much of a flow, it's mainly when I wipe.
I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation.
I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
